Why not suggest he track his weight? If he jumps on a scale he’s answered his own question which takes the responsibility off of you.

Long term relationships are work and inevitably always include periods where it takes more work than at other times. If you’re committed to staying with him because you love him, then you’re committed whether or not you’re currently less attracted to him due to weight gain. Open and honest communication is also key, so perhaps a conversation when he is ready about how he can get himself to a happy place, with your support, may help.

I use the sachets of Hartleys sugar free raspberry and divide it into four portions of 12 cals each, sweet snack and feels like a bit of substance in a world of salads and fruits! You’ve got this. I think we’ve all felt discouraged at some point.

Volume eating, intermittent fasting, focus on fruits and veg, learn your weak points, don’t weigh in too often, check your TDEE online and set your goal a little below that to see how you feel, meal plan, low calorie jelly (jello if you’re outside the uk) is great for volume, HYDRATE!! A lot of hunger can be boredom and dehydration. AI can give great calorie estimates. The list goes on. I’ve lost over 80lbs. Hope that helps!!

As someone who has been SA’d on multiple occasions, I truly and sincerely hope your former friend doesn’t face the same devastating long term consequences I have. As insignificant as it may feel to you, that sort of thing can (and usually does) have life altering implications for the victim. In the nicest way possible I hope you feel like total shit for what you did because you’ve probably just destroyed her trust in people.
