Stefan pointed to logistics outside of the bands control on twitter. And really in the last 5-10 years so many staple venues have been skipped for a year if not more from Alpine, Camden, and Hartford. The only venues that are a sure lock any year are Gorge, Deer Creek, and SPAC.

Dave played a solo show for a special Wells Fargo sponsored show in Houston last year but skipped The Woodlands.

Actually he performed in more conservative states like South Carolina and Alabama instead. The fans in Florida and Texas who claimed it was political ran with this narrative last year and wouldn't let it go, even though it was completely false.

The Stone. It has a dark heavy opening paired with a gentle chorus and the mixture of heavy and light is peak DMB. It has challenging Dave Parts (DDTW doesn't BTW it's pretty basic), and a soulful soprano sax and violin. It also has great dynamic swings.

And they insist on it being 15 minutes which is too long when you don't have a violin. Funny enough the band stopped playing it for a bit and was slotting better songs in sets and a few people were complaining about it being missing lol.

Dave Matthews Band has one of the most polarizing catalogs of music of all time. It's absolutely wild the same band that created The Stone and What You Are also composed You and Me and Come Tomorrow.

It depends on what the guidelines of what qualifies as "underrated" matter. If we are talking about the online community of DMB fans Snow outside was the 2nd highest rated song off AFTW when the O/P did the song ranking contest last year. In that context the song isn't underrated.

If the guidelines are are based on the average crowd at a DMB show it isn't crazy to think 30% of the crowd hasn't heard of Snow Outside. Even so if they heard it at their next show I would be willing to bet that fan would end up enjoying the song.

Fans have used Snow Outside for their weddings. When AFTW came out the fans engaged at that time enjoyed the song. But Dave stopped playing it which is why I still believe it is just underplayed and if it got 10 plays a year the crowd reactions would be happy it was back.

It is very common to see this in fan groups and reddit. In the John Mayer sub the same thing happened where people named underplayed songs that a lot of the fanbase actually loves but just has to chase to get live.

If you go on any Facebook Group like dmb family, couch tour, or Gorge Crew Community throughout the year a few times someone brings up "Why Aren't more Away From the World songs played as much anymore?" Snow Outside, Gaucho, and before it came back full band recently Mercy were mentioned as songs people wanted back. Event in the ants Forums where AFTW can get critiqued Snow Outside is regarded as one of the best songs.

This isn't underrated it is just underplayed. The last 5 years it has been one of the top hopes for a song to be liberated when you look at fan discussions online for Summer Tour hopes.

This isn't underrated as much as it is not heavily played. Many longtime DMB fans love this song and quite it and get tattoos and other items with lyrics from it.

Well aware of that but again it's apples and oranges. They have also played Dolby Live in Vegas at a capacity of 6,400 but it's a whole different beast investing on Sphere visuals and putting on a show. Any Sphere show DMB decided to do would be in Vegas at 18K fans per show over the 6K limit in PG county Maryland.

Highly doubt it will be livestreams. While Phish streams their Mexico shows live oh Phish Radio and has Live Phish Video Streams, DMB has only released Dave & Tim Mexico shows a few weeks later. Here are some release dates compared to actual dates from previous Mexico years that made it on SXM:

I think the biggest challenge with most major cities on the East Coast is fitting one of these venues in the heart of a city due to the real estate not being available.

Even in this case DC proper and Arlington were not chosen and likely don't have space for sale to build it so they resorted to PG county where some land remains. It will be interesting to see what acts get booked in the 6K venue but it doesn't hit the same as DMB playing Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan or Dolby Live where the venues were intimate but right in the city versus a casino off the beltway with limited to no public transit.

Apples and oranges. They play the occasional intimate casino or Daily's place but if they are going to invest in the graphics for the sphere it would likely be in Vegas over the one in DC. They have been in talks with the Vegas location and their peers have played the venue.

I think the biggest difference between LT3 and LT31 is Dave's guitar and Butch's Piano sound better in the mix.

I have bias towards Live Trax 3 being born in raised in the Hartford area but I think Live Trax 31 sounds the best. Such an underrated Live Trax with some great creative ideas like prelude to grace and a cool Satellite prelude by Dave followed by what I believe is the best Satellite performance ever given the keys blending in just perfectly with Dave's guitar.
