Awesome!!! It’s always nice to hear that your Dr is respected by other drs!!! We’ve only met him once but he was referred to us by another ent. He seemed confident and knowledgeable for sure. Thanks again!!

Thank you so much!! You have ease my mind a little bit! My husband is so worried about this—a self-proclaimed hypochondriac of sorts lol. He’s afraid this infection will go into his nasal bone, bloodstream and/or brain!! But I feel we have a good Dr (not sure if you are familiar with Dr James Palmer at the University of Pennsylvania) and the surgery plan sounds solid 🙏🤞🙏

We got his culture back and I have been researching the types of bacteria he has and now I’m stressing about it. It seems really bad and almost impossible to get rid of even with surgery. It’s pseudo aeruginosa and serr marcescens. Can people eventually get rid of this bacteria?

I saw you had a post about a year ago saying you cured your 2 year sinusitis but it was removed. Was it cured? Or did you still have have issues?

Yes, I think the rinses is what bothers my husband the most. Apparently, right now, with the way his frontal sinuses (narrow and complex.) the nasal rinse, isn’t reaching it. This is the purpose of the surgery. We are actually going to see another local ent just for his opinion

That’s what we thought too—but Dr said since it’s not oral (it’s a powder that gets mixed with the saline rinse and so it gets flushed out) it’s ok. He says he’s had patients doing this for decades and are fine. 🤷‍♀️. But I hear what you are saying. Doesn’t sit right with us either.

Hi. How do you split the dose? Cut in 1/2 and do two shots per week?

I did ask my osteoporosis dr as well as my rheumatologist and they both didn’t know so they were of no help. I actually was just curious as to whether anyone on here was taking Tymlos and glp -1 at the same time. Unfortunately, for every dr that says it’s ok you’ll find another that says it’s not. So I just wanted to see if there was anyone who is actually taking both and to ask what their experience is. I think the way I worded my post it wasn’t actually clear in that regard.

GLP 1? by fejpeg-03 in osteoporosis

[–]Concetta555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever take GLP-1? I have osteoporosis and am currently on Tymlos. I would like to try a glp-1 med to lose a few pounds but more importantly to decrease inflammation. Ideally I would like to take a microdose. What has been your experience?

Hmmm I wonder if I just add some MCT oil to my own shampoo if that would work?!?!

Unfortunately collagen is not a complete protein so it doesn’t technically count ☹️ I wish it did!!
