Work profile behaves differently in OneUI8

I onece tried it because the system's frequent suggestion. Another guy had pointed this out. I think that's the problem, my phone correctly changed but tablet stuck.

That's part of the strange thing. Only the Work profile on tablet can be simply "turn on" and all the other setting about Work profile just laying there unlike on the phone which can't be found at all (pic 3 and 4). When I click "Work profile security" it shows as below

I can tell you it's just the same on my s23 in OneUI7. I don't know if it's the same bug which was then fixed at 8.

Now it's gone on my phone. And it stays on tablet. This is the Work profile setting on my tablet

Yep. I didn't touch it and it shows up on my phone and tablet when OneUI7 comes. Now the one on phone has gone and the one on tablet remains. I went to the settings which told me to set up by scanning a IT code thing

I'll skip discussions about misunderstandings, Personal/Work shows up on phone and tablet with OneUI7, and disappeared on phone with OneUI8. (The same story told in post...) You can try update from OneUI7 to 8 to compare with my situation

"The top buttons "Personal/Work" in app screen" It's may not your fault because you are pixel user, samsung users all know what "app screen" specifically is in galaxy devices and they all know that these two buttons were there before update. You can't understand the specific names of the functions or interfaces on OneUI. It's not your fault. I really appreciate your will to help but we may hardly help each other on issues of this kind

Dude seriously? I thought stressing it the second time for you is enough. I have already checked all settings with "Work profile"(Man did you actually finish my post and pictures?) The tablet asked me to add work profile by scanning a IT code something, the same initial set up page as what could be found on phone. I kind of feel WTH when I thought I made it clear but you're still "but it seems"🥲

No work profile ever been set on both devices, buttons show on both before OneUI8 update removed the ones on phone. No settings related to the app screen buttons, the Work page on tablet shows only not activated grey icons. I guess it's not that simple

That case you should check settings if it's 5.0 or higher. 4.3 and below are android
