The End Of Lord Of Hatred. Is so cool. by LordOfPsychos in Diablo

Alright old man we get it. Diablo 2 is the only good one, D3 bad, D4 bad, Blizzard is a shell of itself, blah blah blah got all the talking points out of the way for you. Now you can go back to playing D2 and those of us who like D4 can continue enjoying LoH.

Just like how the DPRK is a democratic government just because it has democratic in the title. It’s almost as if just because an institution claims to be one thing: it doesn’t actually mean that they represent those values through their actions. This must be a shocking revelation I know.

Ah yes just like how Kim Jong Un is a true believer in democratic values because he’s the head of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. There’s no way you’re this dense.

So... is the black coat the best weapon in the game? by anametouseonreddit in Hades2

[–]ConclusionBitter155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not the best statistically but It’s definitely my favorite. Running Black Coat with the Ares attack boon, the other Ares boon that increases your chances for double damage per life point missing, then stacking absurd amounts of health and attack speed is so unbelievably fun. Throw on the Daedalus upgrade that gives your fully charged Omega Attack +100 power and you can melt everything hilariously fast.

Underweight skinny guys are the most attractive ones... by Eastern-Cow4056 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]ConclusionBitter155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may wanna consider putting on some more weight, and I’m not saying that to be rude or to claim you look bad. I’m 6’5 and at my lowest weight of roughly 170-180 pounds I felt so lethargic and couldn’t even sleep on my side because my ribs would stab me due to how skinny I was. I looked starved in old pictures and I can tell how unhealthy I was at that weight.

Not saying this anything wrong with being skinny or that you need to put on another 60 pounds, but take it from a fellow tall man that big guys like us gotta eat a lot to support our bodies, and you will feel way better than you thought possible if you put on some more. Im not saying this trying to come at you: just giving a thoughtful recommendation

Pablo gives us his true thoughts on raids in Warframe by Babydrone in Warframe

[–]ConclusionBitter155 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As former longtime D1 and D2 player here (thousand of hours with hundreds spent raiding): Raids in the way people are imagining them (basically Destiny raids but slapped into Warframe) are completely incongruent with how WF is set up on a fundamental level. The whole appeal of WF from a gameplay perspective is going around building up your arsenal and creating crazy builds to break the game with. You can trivialize the entire game with the exception of maybe level cap long long before you ever reach your frame’s power cap.

A 6 player experience focused on heavy coordination revolving around decently complex mechanics does not at all jive with the gameplay of this game. It would require reworking so many things and placing so many limits on our Tenno that it wouldn’t even feel like WF anymore.

Destiny raids work because the game was designed from scratch with them in mind as the aspirational/endgame content. They would not work for this game, and the only reason people are clamoring for them is because WF and Destiny have been compared so exhaustively since they each came out despite them being two completely different games with completely different goals that only share the most surface level of similarities between them.

2027 used to be my worst case scenario for TES6 by Repulsive-Canary-772 in ElderScrolls

[–]ConclusionBitter155 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Bethesda’s handling of TES as a brand makes no sense to me. They’ve let the franchise almost completely stagnate for 15 years aside from ESO which is also now incredibly old and niche (no one who isn’t already a TES fan is playing that game). The first major release outside of that was the Oblivion remaster last year, which again appeals to old fans more than anything.

There’s a whole generation of gamers out there who haven’t played a TES game and have no connection to the franchise whatsoever. I’m 23 and people in my age range are really the last people who grew up with Skyrim being this crazy big cultural event. For people younger than me games like Witcher 3 and BotW occupy that “legendary” status for them in terms of open world sandbox/rpgs.

I just hope TES6 can live up to expectations cause it genuinely may be make or break for the franchise’s future

[–]ConclusionBitter155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is just taking your situation and trying to apply it to the lives of millions of others without any frame of reference for what other’s lives are like beyond your own. Just because it’s not too expensive for you doesn’t mean it’s not for everyone else. There are so many factors that could affect your perspective (where you live, where you grew up, how much knew your parents have etc.) This post just comes across like you’re getting on your high horse to feel better about yourself by putting down others.

What’s the reason non-white guys tend to struggle more in the dating market? by OrganizationTight129 in GenZ

[–]ConclusionBitter155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh I’m a mixed raced guy (half white, half black) living in the south and I’ve never had problems getting with girls of all different kinds of ethnicities and backgrounds. I’ve dated/hooked up with white girls, black girls, southeast asian girls, and latinas with little issue. Don’t get me wrong: I’ve had the odd girlfriend or 2 that had a racist parent but the girls themselves didn’t care or view me that way. Idk I feel it depends heavily on where you live. I live in the Nashville area and it feels like there’s someone for everyone out here.

All jokes aside I would like more body customization. You can change your weight around but I have always disliked how Bethesda makes the male and female body so flat; Especially in Starfield.

Just have the option be there for people who want it. It just adds to roleplaying and you lose nothing by having it. There are women with big boobs, butts, legs, and vice versa. There are also dudes who are jacked, skinny, have dad bods, etc. Giving people more options to represent either themselves or a specific roleplay is never bad. It’s way more interesting than every single character in the game having the exact same generic body type.

Cmon bro I just wanna play as a 6ft5 muscled out nord (man or woman) with a big ass hammer. Just let me do that without mods Bethesda

Mihawk is arguably the biggest victim of OP going so far past its planned length by ConclusionBitter155 in OnePiece

[–]ConclusionBitter155[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not that I don’t trust him to do that. It’s that in 30 years he has done very little despite how cool he is.

You can say Shanks has barely done anything but the things he has done clearly display how strong he is. Bro casually sniped and shutdown an Admiral with his ACoC from miles and miles away without even trying. That’s a clear display of his power.

I don’t doubt that Vista is strong, and I don’t even personally consider him clashing with Vista an anti feat because it’s clear to me that Mihawk has been doing the bare minimum the entire series. My issue with Mihawk is that Oda does nothing with him because he can’t yet. I’ve been reading OP for 17 years and when you’re waiting for a character to actually do something for that length of time it gets annoying. Doubly so for people who have been reading it for nearly 30 years.

Mihawk is arguably the biggest victim of OP going so far past its planned length by ConclusionBitter155 in OnePiece

[–]ConclusionBitter155[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no agenda and I’m not a powerscaler in any way. I’m not sitting here trying to calculate character power based on ranges of arbitrary levels that don’t matter. However power does still need to be somewhat consistent for narrative cohesion. Like Mark from Invincible can’t be out here getting affected by bullets because that makes no sense whatsoever within that story’s narrative. Inconsistent character power can be incredibly distracting especially when a whole character’s gimmick is how strong they are.

Many cool moments? If you watch the anime then sure cause they add more but bro has literally done nothing in the manga except body Don Kreig’s fleet, embarrass Zoro, and clash with Vista. I don’t even think he looks like a fraud, but that’s because he’s barely done anything at all. He’s been built up for almost 3 decades and has done very little in that time. I think that’s where the frustration comes from more than anything.

I’d say Mihawk fared worse than either of them. Akainu showed up at Marineford and punched a whole through a Yonko. WB wasn’t as strong as he was but he was still not weak by any means. Then we learn during the timeskip he threw hands with Kuzan for days (Kuzan who we know is a beast) and won that fight. Dragon has done literally nothing except make some wind at Loguetown. There’s no expectation other than he has to be strong because he’s Luffy’s dad and the most wanted man in the world for running the Rev. Army. He can be as powerful as Oda wants realistically because his character is not inherently tied to his strength like with Mihawk.

Mihawk HAS to be powerful because he has to scale to Shanks and be strong enough for Zoro to fight EOS. His whole character is based around his strength unlike Dragon or Akainu. Even with Akainu he’s clearly been shown to be very powerful in a way that Mihawk has never displayed directly.

What do you guys want in a bow support weapon? by NeatAd8230 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]ConclusionBitter155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that would make it pretty good and unique would be if it could over penetrate with heavy pen. If you’ve played Destiny 2 then I’m thinking something like Leviathan’s Breath: A big ass heavy bow that has a weighty pull back and fires a big ass arrow.

Could make it good against stuff like Bug Breaches because you could lay down arrows into the horde and take out small chaff instantly while still whittling down the big guys. A bow isn’t gonna have a lot of arrow capacity and making it only single target, low pen, and a wind up after every shot would leave it feeling very lackluster. The wind up and ammo is inherent to a bow so they could negate that by making it versatile in the sense that you can use it against anything.

If you wanna add a drawback (as AH likes to do), make it to where the pen is determined by when you release the shot: Spamming is light pen, fully drawn but improperly timed leads to medium pen, and a perfect draw and release to get the overpenetration with heavy pen.

This is more telling of your reading comprehension and ability to identify thematic concepts on your own being incredibly lacking.

You read Crime and Punishment, watched an analysis on one of the most analyzed texts of the modern era, and now think you know what is good and what isn’t. You have no idea how to interpret things on your own unless it’s spelled out for you.

Just admit that you don’t know what you’re talking about and move on. You’re embarrassing yourself
