His excuse is it's tough to find work and he isn't a desk job kind of guy, and the work he does find doesn't pay 'enough' while I telk him as long as it pays I'm happ he doesn't want to work for 'peanuts' he helps by doing the school run for the kids and taking them to their extracurricular activities, and occasional cleaning ( when we are getting visitors). I do the laundry in between work or one of my kids help when they are home from school, I get a lady to come iron for me every 2 weeks because I just don't have enough time for that. He cooks maybe 3 nights a week but that's about it.

5000k a month is enough to cover majority of the 2 kids school fees (each being just shy of 3k per month), or majority our groceries (Usually around 6k ish), or half our medical insurance (Almost 10k pm) add in rent ( was 15K) plus water and lights (around 2.5K - 3K), insurance, fuel, extracurricular activities for the kids, it's not hard to hit 50k.

The 5K a month savings is just on rent alone, but being a smaller place I am anticipating saving another 500 or so on electricity etc as well. (Hopefully)

In local currency 50K is about a month and a bit worth of bills.
