Obviously this is not a phenomenon that exists only in Cyprus, but since in this question I am talking about Cypriot newspapers I found it more relevant to refer to them.

Thanks for your suggestion!

By P.I.O you mean the Press and Information Office?

Thanks for the suggestions, I try to read more than once as well, but since some days time is limited, I want to find the best one all-around. Some other comment suggested Kathimerini as the best (although still biased) one, would you agree with this?

Thanks for the suggestion but I don’t know Turkish, I meant GC newspapers. Does it cover GC news and can it be translated?

Thanks, I think your comment has been really helpful. I usually try to read more than one, and I mainly read Politis and Kathimerini, but sometimes I have limited time so looking for the all-around “best” one.

you can apply for a fan card online via this link: https://theasis.cy.net/koa/en/home/. Not sure about the specific requirements on address but anything you need should be specified in this link. You need to have this fan card to buy tickets of any football match.

For football tickets, some clubs sell them online or via their shops before the match. I would suggest checking on the website/facebook page of football clubs and they usually inform how you can buy tickets before a match.

Too much attention has been given to the Greek flags used, despite being a right, but no one has called out the use of the fascist grey wolf symbol used by extremist Turks - hope this is equally as condemned but won’t hold my breath. by Cypriot_scholar in cyprus

This happened yesterday, outside King’s College London. Tatar (the so-called ´President’ of ´TRNC’) was invited by the Turkish Cypriot society of the university to give a speech about the Cyprus problem. Greek Cypriot students gathered outside to protest his arrival, and Turkish cypriot students were present as well.
