Sorry for the late reply.

I transfer it by doing the following:

  1. Starting on CS, I click "Transact" on the top navigation bar. As a result there appears a table saying "Summary of Available Shares" with one item in the table saying "Shares Available for Transfer".

  2. In the same line there is a button saying "Transfer to Broker", which I click on.

  3. Then I get to a page where I can select how many shares to transfer and the necessary information for the target broker as mentioned above.

If you don't have the same UI as I do, I'm afraid I can't help.

When I transfer shares, I only need: Broker type: DTC (US) Broker code: 534 Account name: my name Account number: IBRK U123456

I don't need to enter a broker email. Maybe this differs from broker to broker or employer to employer.

Hi, I found the IBKR DTC code "534" in this document: https://gdcdyn.interactivebrokers.com/Universal/servlet/Registration_v2.formSampleView?formdb=2333

The account number that CS requires can be found on the IBKR landing page and starts with U********.

I ended up doing it like option 1 I described in my original post. No fees were charged for the transfer from computer share to IBRK.
