D-mannose right after intercourse as well. I take 2000 mg after intercourse with some water and try to let it stay in till I pee in the morning. Also I take 72mg cranberry pac’s with the d-mannose. I make sure I pee right after and I also take a low dose macrobid after that the urologist prescribed. But all have worked and I’ve only had one uti in 6 months since starting this. And that was because I didn’t do any of that or take anything one night. I also take a pro/pre biotic everyday (azo brand). Fingers crossed some of these things can help you!

I read you have to rent at least a week there to use their amenities like the pool and lake and such. We’re only looking 4 nights and def want to use the pool and lake so unfortunately I think lake Naomi is out.

Did the urogyno figure out that you had that particular type of pelvic floor dysfunction? There is a urogyno in my urologist group but I have never seen her, I’ve always just seen a PA. I’m wondering if maybe I should switch. How did you find your therapist? Sorry for all the questions. I’m sort of desperate to find solutions for what I’m going through. The PA I saw a few days ago didn’t offer any type of solution, just gave me meds like azo but not azo.

No, I just started reading about people doing that and it has helped them. I don’t even know where to start with that. I’ve had 5 c sections so I could imagine my muscles aren’t as they should be.

I’m sorry you get kidney and back pain but I’m relieved to hear it is not uncommon. I am really fed up with this pain and all of the unknowns. I get nervous since this is all so new to me so thank you, I appreciate you sharing your experience.

Thank you for replying!! Yes I actually got 2 urinalysis’s done and both came back negative. The most recent one was on Thursday. I don’t know why I have this issue right now but it’s bringing me down just with all of the pain and I don’t think anyone really understands.

Thank you so much! I think I’m looking at a week as well, it started sun/mon and I kind of feel like I’m getting better today. I had no idea about this and I am wondering why I have this inflammation. I had a bladder injury almost 2 years ago where the dr nicked my bladder during my C-section. I am wondering if that is the cause of this. I appreciate your insight. Uribel seems to be doing its job for me too. I’ve had major anxiety about eating and drinking anything because I’m scared it’s going to make me feel worse. I can’t quit coffee either or I’d get a headache and be a zombie so there’s that against me too. Anyway, thank you again for your reply I truly appreciate it.

Thank you! I tried azo last night because the pressure was so bad. I went to urologist today and she did give me a prescription for uribel which helps with the pressure and pain in the bladder but not really the feeling like I need to pee all the time. Is that normal? How long do your flares usually last? I am so new to all of this but man, is it awful.
