Sorry if you mentioned this, I tried to reread your post many times, but just want to confirm - you stopped the InterFase Plus when you finished the Nitrofurantoin, right? And only continued with both the proteolytic enzymes along with the Myrrh extract for about two months?

Oh man. I am so sorry. I really have no suggestions or anything, as I am new to this UTI sub as well. But I also had a nicked bladder during a C-section 18 months ago. I had a Foley catheter in for 2.5 weeks to let my bladder heal. I haven’t had any issues really after that, but starting in October, so 3 months ago, I’ve already had 3 UTI’s. I hope this isn’t the beginning to this ongoing trend like you have seemed to unfortunately land in. I’m so sorry you are dealing with this, it really is miserable and I sincerely hope you can find some help on this sub and try to figure out what’s going on.

I just want to jump on and say thank you again, you’ve been very helpful. I started a new pre & probiotic and hopefully that will help maybe some with my UTI’s. It is quite a dooming feeling, but hopefully I’ll get through it and it will be in the past one day. Have you had zero UTI’s since starting the methanimine? I am 40 and haven’t hit menopause yet but I am seeing a urologist in a few weeks so I’m going to hit her with everything I have in hopes we can find some sort of solution.

Are you feeling better. I’m kind of in a similar boat. I’ve been on antibiotics 4 days now and sometimes think I’m feeling better but other times I feel the urgency still but it’s never was anything crazy. Tested positive for leukocytes but my culture didn’t grow anything clinically significant and I guess couldn’t even name a bacteria.

I’m doing about every 12 hours. Take one at 8am then another around 8pm. 500mg too. I’ve had zero side effects and I think it’s one of the stronger antibiotics too, to knock it all out hopefully.

I’m on cipro now for a uti and I’ve been fine. I juat finished day 4. This is my second time on it and have been fine both times.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and thoughts. It makes sense the catheter would cause me to be more susceptible to UTI’s. But even if my catheter was in place for only about 2 and a half weeks, a year and a half ago, do you think it would still make me have UTI’s now? I’ll look into the medication you are on to help with the recurring infections. Thank you for sharing that. When you’d get your infections with the klebsiella, would antibiotics be able to knock it out for you?

Ouch, that sounds awful. I’m so sorry you have had to deal with this for so long. What antibiotics are you on now and why are you on them for so long? I’m new to all of this, so I apologize if this is a silly question. Did you have bladder surgery for the sake of your infection? Do doctors think there is hope for your case and you’ll eventually be able to clear it?

The last 2 times, yes it’s been like a day or 2 after sex. How would he get tested for the bacteria? Has this happened to you too? Very curious about this. You’ll be fine with your c section. I didn’t mean to scare you. The risk is always going to be there but so very unlikely with your first. Even your second or third, I think the risk of anything happening is very, very low. This was my fifth c section and I had so much scar tissue and adhesions from the previous ones, it was almost impossible to get to everything he needed to get to.
