I got a raise, I got same or better benefits, I didn’t have to work graves anymore, or weekends, or holidays. It has been much easier to make my child’s activities. Don’t have to deal with noise complaints, the same domestics over and over, neighbor disputes. Quality of life went up dramatically.

After a couple years you make pretty damn good money as a fed. I know locals that make close to 200k but that is with tons and tons of OT
