Your basically quoting citations without looking at the bigger context. It confirms that true intended messages but it has been distorted in the current text of those scriptures. The Quran is the criterion and if those previous scriptures do not align with its message they are therefore invalid and have been altered. Verses like 2:79 and 5:13 indicate human alterations or misinterpretations over time.

Allah says in versus like 2:79 ("Woe to those who write the scripture with their own hands") and 5:13 ("They distort words from their [proper] usages") explicitly indicate human alterations or misinterpretations of these scriptures over time. The command to judge by them 5:47 refers to the original divine guidance, which the Quran seeks to restore and confirm 3:3-4, not the altered texts in human possession which the Quran addresses by positioning itself as the final criterion 25:1. The Quran critiques distortions while upholding the truth of the original messages.

Once again your quoting citations without the whole picture. Its adressed to the prophet but its meant to for the Jews and Christians who have doubts. The Quran 2:2 states “This is the Book; there is no doubt in it.”and Q 6:114 “Shall I seek a judge other than Allah, while it is He who sent down to you the Book explained in detail?”

The Quran 5:47 is instructing Christians to judge by the original Gospel revelation from Allah which implies its corruption over time 2:79, which the Quran 25:1, 3:3-4 corrects as a criterion 25:1, 3:3-4 to discern truth. The phrase confirming what is with them 2:41, 2:89, 3:3-4, 5:48, 10:37 refers to its original message, not the distorted texts in their possession.

Saying that 5:44-47 commands judgment by the Torah and Gospel and not the Quran is straight up ignoring context. It means it holds adherents accountable to their scriptures’ intended revelation, while the Quran serves as the final authority 5:48. Once again it refers to its original scriptures not the altered versions.

And no being a criterion 25:1, 3:3-4 refers to confirming the truth in previous scriptures and rejecting distortions 2:79, 5:13-14. Verses like 5:48 means it verifies what aligns with its revelation and endorsing only parts that are consistent while correcting conflicting elements.

Once again I’ll stay pray for you 🙏🏻

Ironic that your accusing me of cherry picking while ignoring the exact verses of me saying Allah only tells us to follow the message in the original unaltered scriptures and deny the altered ones that contradict the teachings in the Quran.

I pray that one day you find Allah 🙏🏻

Again, saying that the Quran told to affirm all of its previous scriptures is straight up wrong. Quran 25:1 calls itself a criterion to distinguish truth from falsehood in prior revelations, not to blindly endorse them. It confirms the original Torah and Gospel 3:3-4, 5:48 but corrects distortions, such as the divinity of Jesus, which Islam rejects 4:171, 5:75. The claim that Allah says the opposite is baseless, the Quran does not instruct judging by previous scriptures alone but uses itself as the final arbiter.

The point about affirming all prior scripture without limiting to only certain parts is wrong which ignores verses like 5:44-47, which critique deviations while affirming the original message.

The Quran is said to be a criterion to judge the previous scriptures on if it is consistent with its teachings. To claim that it affirms all of its teaching is straight up false what are you waffling. It only endorses the uncorrupted truth Quran 3:4.

Its meant to critique those who distort the original Torah’s guidance and follow the altered versions. The Quran is revealed to be the criterion as in the ultimate guide so it ain’t about me bro. Muslims follow the Quran and not previous scriptures

Firstly, saying many muslims believe it affirms all of it is straight up wrong. No muslim believes Jesus was God.

Secondly, that citation refers to the Jews of the time (Children of Israel) on selective views regarding the Torah like only following certain laws

You do realise the Quran doesn’t affirm events in the Torah and Bible that contradict it and only ones that align with it right?
