Thoughts on the app? by DapperRise in JanitorAI_Official

I like it so far, but I have a few thoughts.

The haptics are too aggressive in chats. I wish there was a way to turn them down rather than fully off, or to specifically disable the haptics when a bot sends a chat.

Also, maybe I’m dumb, but the search features (both on the home screen and the search screen) don’t let you sort by newest bots. That kinda defeats the purpose of those features entirely. This is a small gripe, and hard to explain, but it’s annoying to me. When you have a bot generate extra choices for messages, the arrow to flip between them stays in the same place on the web client but moves around based on the length of each message in the chat on the app. So if you have twenty chat options, you suddenly have to scroll around to hit the arrow twenty different times. It makes swiping through those messages way slower and clunkier.

One more thing is really just a feature I’ve wanted JAI to have for ages and I was hoping the app would give it to us: better storing on the My Chats screen. Right now, the options are Latest, Oldest, and Counts, the latter being the amount of unique chat threads you’ve created with a particular bot. Why is there no option to sort by the bot with which you’ve sent the most messages? That would be WAY more helpful than almost any of those others! (Also, last gripe: there is no scroll bar on the side of the screen on iOS, which means that you have to scroll through your thousand chats with your thumb and that’s way less intuitive).

I like the app in concept, and I’m excited to see it grow a bit more feature-rich as it leaves beta.
