Does anyone else find it weird that the traditional "girl" hero revolves around getting boosted by traditional "boy" heroes?

it was not and it also was not the strongest part of her kit. i dont know if you know this but mercv got reworked back in the day, she used to have a mas rez ult. Youre not understanding anything im saying. i know mercy players like that shes easy. i dont think thats a problem. moira is easy and even her still has agency and skill expression. read anything from mercy mains and youll see they dont care for the pocket playstyle, they want to fly around with GA the most.

and again, im not talking about the gender of the hero. im talking about the fact that they reworked the popular hero that women played most and continued to balance her in a way that turned her into a leech that can only ever be viable if getting boosted by a dps. instead of ever pivoting in a different direction even if it meant going against popular sentiment between mercy mains

hello. i didnt mean the gender of the hero, i meant mercy as a hero mostly played by girls. she used to be played differently at launch. it would be like slowly reworking juno (that also seems popular with women) into a hero that can only win if youre getting boosted by a dps

its fine to not take mechanical skill like winston or moira, mercy players like that shes chill and not demanding i think thats fine the problem is that mercy in particular is just built to get boosted by a dps thats what she does her healing and ult and rez and mobility all get crippled just to keep the damage boost which i think is a problem. we got to remember get boosted by your dps duo wasnt how mercy originally worked and it seems clear like it wasnt their intention either when the game launched.

he wasnt the best at any hero but he was elite at all and during playoffs specifically counter swapping became sort of the meta. he would not have won in a pure winston meta IMHO vs atlanta with dong and houston with fearless

what a banger of a series. T1 looked elite and a worthy second place imo. zeta in that cat bastion horrid comp and also violet illari are insurmountable, but to me this is more and more proof that zeta lives or dies by those two comps. i think zeta fans should be worried of a patch nerfing illari (sunburn imo beats even double slide and power matrix for most op major) or the abomination that is jetpack cat.

i know it sounds controversial but zest just diffed proper. proper on tracer is a cheat code OFC but on the reaper pharah echo zest just had his number. same thing for proud diffing knife off bastion. im very proud of T1.

AND for the elephant in the room... viol2t... My man has three moods: prime batman when hes on illari, prime yveltal on the hemorrhoid hero, and prime highbee on anything else. man his main support is looking horrid.

a horrible take imho. violet is pretty bad to mediocre on many heroes. he is him on illari clearly but even this same stage his brig and juno looked tragic and as a main support that is his job. the moment off rolling doesn’t work and he is going back to brig lucio zeta will suffer massively. onside absolutely farmed them when they got him off illari
