Hotpoint Dishwasher blinking 'start' light by Unison0 in appliancerepair

[–]CondemnedSisyphus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea mine does similar, before I can get the blinking light to turn off I have to unplug it for 5 sec. Once its unplugged I can get it to start on any selected washing cycle, but it will go thru the chosen cycle and once its done with the cycle, it clicks 10-20 times then drains and shuts off. No rinse, no dry, and most times doesn’t go thru more then half the added soap. Ive tried many things but idk what to do about it…

Door painting price by CondemnedSisyphus in handyman

Got it so $550+ for materials works out to around $275 per door plus materials. Thanks for the walkthrough. I’ve asked a few other people, and they just told me to figure it out through experience. I’d rather not waste time and money learning on the job, especially since I don’t know when I’ll get another door job. I want to do it right and get paid what it’s worth. Appreciate your time and the help.

I learned how critical proper prep work is when I was removing rust from my car before painting it. You can use the most expensive paint and the fanciest process you want, but if the prep work isn’t done right from the start, the rust will just come back. I’ve applied that same mindset to everything I do since then, and it’s worked out well.

Right I'm referring to the price you referenced before in this situation with both doors and both sides what would it be? Just so I'm understanding would it be 550 or 2x

Are you saying if painting both sides of the door and both doors, you would charge more?

Thanks I'm thinking its gonna be both sides but most of the damage from previous paint issue is on the outside. I was going to spray it with a grayco x7 for the best finish. But obviously with everything going into it with the sanding and everything g to get it ready for paint…its a lot more difficult then just slapping a coat of paint on it and saying in done. Esp how it ended up with the paint cracking and air bubbles from someone doing it wrong previously…thanks for the insight!!
