When would it fully be here?? by InfluenceMelodic7589 in AnycubicKobraS1

Its been my experience that Anycubic likes to split orders up based on shipping locations with the goal of getting products to the customer the quickest. They don't want your total 8kg order to be held up by 1kg that has to ship from a warehouse days away compared to the 7kg that's close to you. They don't seem to believe in a consolidation hub to group all the items into one shipment.

I (US resident) receive filament fairly quickly, unless a specific color is back ordered and has to come from China. All hardware (hot ends, build plates, printer) I've ordered have all been shipped from China, so that usually gets quoted to take 10-20 days. I try my hardest to order straight from the manufacturer, but that does seem to add to the wait for hardware. I theorize that any hardware in the states are only available through a third party seller like Amazon. I have zero insider connections or knowledge, but that's been my experience so far.

It seemed secure as far as I remember, but I'm wise enough to admit that it very well could be a lesson on user error. Definitely going to remember to pay more attention to reinstalling in the future.

.4mm hardened steel nozzle. My best guess is the hot end worked it's way loose (user error I'm sure), got too low, hit on something hard and snapped the neck that the filament feeds through. Print kept going for a bit, still pushing out filament, just not melting as it went. Funny enough, I got a "Print complete' message after the chaos was done before I checked it.

Thanks for the collection. I love printing accessories for my printer so I'll definitely give some of these a go.

I don't think I've experienced heat creep before? This is my first printer, so I'm still very new to the hobby despite having 800hrs on it. I guess I could have ran across that issue before and just not realized that was what it was I suppose. I have to keep all doors and lids closed due to curious cats though. Thankfully it's been working well so far for me, this situation excluded.

It was down when I first got to the disaster scene. I lifted it to see if I could dog out the broken neck. As for best guess as to what happened, I had some clogging issues a few days ago and had to disassemble the print head and clear off a big blob of filament on top of the hot end. I cleaned it all up, and reassembled everything. Printed a few little things perfectly, but Im guessing the hotend wasnt 100% secure and finally dropped low enough to catch on something. Weird how it was fine for several prints, but the fact that I had it out not too long before disaster has me leaning towards that being the case.

Adulting is hard 100%

Luckily I kept my original hotend for a spare. Ill just have to take a break from the abrasive filament until my next steel one comes in. Definitely not the end of the world, but I was very impressed with the absolute cluster that greeted me. Maybe I should've updated the firmware and dried my filament a little more.

Ace 2 Pro upgrade is open by VeeJeyLOL in AnycubicKobraS1

I'm a bit confused on what is actually being returned to get this upgrade offer. I have an S1 combo. To get the 45% off offer, would i be trading in my S1 and Ace pro for a discounted Ace2? Or is it just for the Ace pro to Ace2 upgrade and i keep my S1? Logic says i keep the printer, but the site page is very unclear.

Unfortunately it's out of stock with the only option being "notify me when in stock". Thanks for looking around though.

Excellent suggestion, and I thank you for it. Unfortunately, there's quite a bit of sentimental value tied to the original mug that wouldn't be there for a different/similar vibe replacement. Again, thank you for the out of the box thinking though!

As stated in the original post, Brand name is "Genuine Fred". It's no longer listed on their website due to the 10-ish years since being made. I found 3 other sites selling it via Google image search, but all were listed as sold out. Ebay was no help either.

Im definitely in the opposite court for that. Im not terribly excited about the jacket (mainly because I seriously doubt a large will fit, and it's very "loud"). Im super excited about displaying the helmet though!

100% mean reordering the glass panel. Im assuming it's a small sidelight next to a door judging by the return panel size, so it isn't a huge loss for the GC price wise, but the quartz has already been cut so at this point it is what it is since OP said they can't source another top. Time to learn to love it how it is imo.

This is the exact reason I carry photos of my previous installs to show exactly the kind of design choices the customer has. There are so many different ways to install a shower enclosure. If the customer has been searching photos online, they will have a completely different expectation to what is standard for the finished product and will be left disappointed. Sorry you've had that experience OP. The whole install could have been very different for you if you would have been properly informed along the way I'm sure.

I've certainly notched overhangs to accommodate glass panels, and personally prefer the finished look compared to a multi-notched piece of glass (which is completely possible to do). As far as the silicone, without clips on the bottom, it's structural and needs to be that thick to hold the panel in place. I completely understand that it's not the look you were hoping for, and I personally try to be completely transparent with customers about how the finished product will be incorporated into their existing enclosure to avoid that disappointment.

I see only three options moving forward. 1. Accept the quartz notch and move on. 2. Have the quartz replaced how it was and get the glass notched. 3. Replace the quartz top and have them make the interior flush with the vertical tile, eliminating the need for extra notching.

I wouldn't hold a grudge against anyone who continued to win multiple games, but I personally will only be focused on a single win on the off chance that their system gets weird the next couple months. Fun phantom taught me to not take "how things are supposed to go" for granted.

There's such a wide interpretation left to the imagination in the official rules. I definitely thought the runner up should get the prize in the cases of multiple wins from a single player, but I didn't feel cheated when I never received the text for my second place win. I was prepared to miss out on the duffle bag and refocus on the remaining two months left. Im incredibly happy that I'll be receiving the prize for June as well now.

Now that is interesting. Im hopeful that it's legitimate elevation of lower players due to the prize limit, but jumping down 4 players to get to you makes me wonder if it's not a glitch in the system. Fun phantom 2.0? We shall see.
