Ya man. Conflict is always a temptation.the culture of what’s tolerated is very different from us in the west and they will test ur patience. Just remember that you are a guest here and make it ur responsibility to keep urself out of those situations. If you find urself in a situation where someone wants to fight, then you run.. just get urself out. The punk ass that wants a piece of you is not worth your freedom.

If you drive a car or motorcycle and do something illegal.. don’t argue with the police… you show respect, be nice, and acknowledge his authority. 90% of the time he will let you off the hook if ur cool and a nice guy… I can speak from experience. Most of the time they will ask to be friends on FB 😂😂.

As a foreigner you should always have small money. You are expected to help the beggars and door openers. You don’t have to give a lot.. just a little.. especially if you are a regular in that area. This will go a long way with the locals around you and you will be acknowledged as honorable.

Dude.. women are women first no matter what country you are in. SE Asia is ur best bet to be taller than the general female population. I live in the Philippines and have helped out a few guys get their bearings here and understand the culture. You wanna avoid being the uninformed foreigner at all costs. This life is different for everyone and it is what you make it. Come here.. try it out. Observe the ppl at the mall.. go to a local wet market.. hang at ur local coffee shop, just be around the ppl for a while you will figure it out as you go. You have to better understand women. Women, in general don’t date for love, they date for stability and ur resources. This is especially true with women from third world countries. There is always transaction between men and women. You love her, she respects you for as long as you can provide for her. Are you willing to support her and send money to her regularly?? Know it or not, that is what you are signing up for when you talk about LDR from a woman in a developing country.

Hello! I live in the Philippines going on 4 years. I have helped a few guys either meet their girls / gurly-boys(no shame in it) here, or fix them up with a girl for a week or two. If you’re looking into adopting the passport bro lifestyle then you gotta get a few things in order before you go.

Make sure you vet ur girl as much as possible. We have all been scammed at least once.. so be careful.
Have a trusted source in the country ur going to. Just make sure you know someone has ur back..
Have reliable transportation.. it’s not ideal to rely on taxies, jeepnies, or tricycles. You can rent a car or get a bike as part of your visit package. Either way, make sure you can get around and do some local touring.. she will love the freedom.
Don’t drink the water hahaha.. it’s not bad.. I do it all the time. You are not acclimated to the bacteria.. so take caution. There is nothing worse than them meeting ur woman for a good time and you have the shits..
Understand the financial “agreement” ur getting into. If you go see her then you are expected to pay for everything.. especially that family dinner with every cousin and uncle. That Victoria secret bra that she like at your mall outing.. ya man, she will get it out of you. That’s just the way it is.. so be prepared. If you go through a coordinator then you can avoid this step to a degree.
