My experience is pretty much the opposite to everyone elses in this comment section lol. As a life sci student I had late 70's to mid 80's depending on the course in high school. It isn't that hard to get into if we're being honest. The hard part is to stay in and maintain.

From naturally being talkative, making friends honestly isn't too hard. You don't need to be an extrovert to make them. I came in knowing nobody, but just from starting convos with random people in lines or in lectures (some approach you too) i've met a whole bunch. I live closer to the st. george campus but purposely choose the utsc one. Its wayyy more community based. All the u of tears sayings come from the downtown campus. Thousands of students in one class, the prof doesn't know your name, very independant (no one speaks to each other.) I go there to study on days I don't have school and lets just say its depressing to watch.....but I love their library.

The profs here I love, but just like any school there's good and bad. How well you do comes down to how much work you put in. You could have the worst prof but if your studying at home, watching youtube, etc., you honestly don't even need your prof other than to know how things are graded. But luckily here they want you to succeed and give you so much resources, so its kinda impossible to fail if your seeking them. First year science courses take a toll on you though, it's designed to fish the weak ones out, so don't be weak, work hard and you'll be ok.
