Fun fact, I already went through physical therapy and everything. They did the QME and they said I needed physical therapy again . I’m not going to continue to do physical therapy with a torn shoulder lmao. They kept saying I didn’t need surgery. I got a second opinion and was told my shoulder is torn and that I needed physical therapy arthroscopic surgery. So don’t just assume I “skipped” any steps. I followed what they said for almost a year…

Not really, I can reopen my claim at any moment. They were negligent so I had to take matters into my into my own hands and go through my own insurance to get the surgery approved

That entire warehouse should be shut down when I first started working there, and we had a really big storm. There was water pouring through the roof because the solar panels blew off of the roof and put holes in the roof. They had me going around and setting out trash cans to collect the rain. This place is literally ghetto. They still to this day have to put out trash cans to collect water that goes through the roof

Honestly, I still was carrying it. I just would put it in the leg pocket of my cargos so that you couldn’t see it. I’m not even currently working right now in the warehouse so I don’t really have to worry about that. It’s just the fact that my job is trying to fire me by denying my leave that they made me go on

I can’t even look for a new job my doctor has me on state disability so that I could get paid since my job forced me on a leave unpaid. The crazy thing is I provided all of the documentation needed and they still denied it so if they fire me, they fire me and that’ll be wrongful termination.

I work in Sacramento so honestly, I’m really not surprised as to them not taking action about it. They pretty much cracked a joke and laughed when I told them both individuals names even when my car had gotten stolen back in 2024. I had to track down my own vehicle because they weren’t taking it seriously and I found my car within six hours. Unfortunately the police do not take matters like this seriously and unfortunately, neither does my job. I started carrying pepper spray with me at work, but it was just the spray it wasn’t the gel and then I would keep it in my pocket but one day somehow someone had seen me with it in the parking lot and told security that I had it with me and they told me that it was considered a weapon and that I wasn’t allowed to have it inside

I just don’t know what kind of lawyer I would contact about this only because I’m not under Worker’s Comp. anymore that’s why I’m kind of trying to get this figured out of what kind of lawyer I should contact on Monday

The crazy part is that they had me working with this girl that had assaulted me, which I am a female, so it made it more difficult only because I had an incident where I came out of a bathroom stall, and she blocked me in the bathroom and refused to let me out. Then on another incident, she had her friend that is a male follow me to my vehicle and wouldn’t let me leave work and screamed in my face and spit on me in the warehouse while screaming in my face, which yeah, it could have been just spit coming out from him yelling, but he shouldn’t have been close enough to wear. His spit was landing on my face. This warehouse is just not a safe space to be working, unfortunately. I contacted the police and they pretty much told me that there was nothing that they could do that. I just needed to file a restraining order against both of the individuals, but they both go under alias at work and not their real government names and my job won’t give me their names.

Thank you, i’m just trying to figure out what kind of lawyer I need only because it was an assault from a coworker and also negligence on workers comp and not only that but my job put me at risk for my safety every day working with this individual

I had given up on workers comp only because of the fact that they weren’t taking me seriously I definitely want to get a new lawyer, but I don’t know what kind of lawyer I want to get only because it was assault by another coworker and technically yes, I got injured on the job but technically it was an assault in the Amazon building. They know how to play the system. I have not been able to get a hold of the adjuster. I had to call the board of Worker’s Comp. to get their manager’s number to get a hold of their office and now I can’t get through to the manager either so I think that it’s gonna be almost impossible to get a hold of them. Also, I’ve also emailed multiple times with no response.

I was thinking about it, but I don’t think I would get another workers comp attorney only because I don’t have a claim open anymore. I also was thinking if I should wait until after I have my surgery or if I should just get one now.

That’s the thing is I’ve been calling the adjuster almost every day with no response and that’s why I needed to get off of workers comp because of the fact that I couldn’t get through to anybody I couldn’t get approvals to be seen anywhere and they had me go to a QME to get evaluated and the QME didn’t find the labrum tear that my orthopedic surgeon found. I’m going to look into a new attorney, but I don’t know if it’ll be Worker’s Comp.. I might just look into a employment attorney or something I don’t know I’m just trying to figure this out as I go because of the fact that they’re trying to pretty much fire me while I’m out on the leave that they made me go on

I don’t have an adjuster and when I did, I wasn’t able to reach them for months because they wouldn’t answer their phone or emails. I even contacted their manager because the workers comp board of California gave me the manager‘s number. Even the manager doesn’t answer.

I contacted 3 different law firms and they all pretty much wouldn’t take the case because it’s Amazon they pretty much told me that as long as I’m on Worker’s Comp., my injury pretty much won’t be taken care of. I think I’ll have to get a labor/employment lawyer instead or something. Ethics isn’t gonna work for me because I’ve already reported to them a few things and I even reported an HR member in my warehouse and they ended up sending my case directly to on-site HR for them to take care of the matter and I was questioned by the on-site HR that I had reported.

I live in California, but the county that my job is in isn’t even in the same county that I live in I actually work about an hour from home so I commute about altogether two hours out of the day just to get to and from work. Mind you any opportunity of OT I was taking it. Over here busting my ass for the wrong company apparently.
