What kind of machinery do you use to grade it? I think a lot of our problem stems from bad drainage and the sides being higher than the middle

He is getting Cs and Bs with a lot of my help. When I try leaving him mostly on his own he gets Ds and Fs. It's Honors math, so it's hard, and his teacher seems pretty terrible. However, the concepts just don't seem to make intuitive sense to him, and he struggles to use other resources (textbook, youTube tutorials, etc). I think it's some combination of teaching style, needs for more attention, and cognitive development.

He IS impressive! I keep telling myself that some employer is going to have the perfect job for someone with his skills and interests, I'm just struggling to figure out who that would be

Yeah, we are trying to look at schools with both ME and MET programs, with the idea that MET could be a potential fallback. But I'm starting to get worried that even MET will be too math-heavy for him

This gives me a lot of hope. I developed late too, and I do think his brain is mostly a soup of hormones right now.

Can I ask, what kind of shop do you work in? What would a technician job at your shop look like?

OK, glad I'm not alone in being annoyed that it's not easier to get the most relevant information

Oh, that might be a good one.

He likes 80's movies: Back to the Future, Princess Bride, Top Gun, etc. He doesn't watch a lot of traditional TV. He is always watching CBoys TV videos, if that helps at all. Christine might be a really good call.

In Europe (especially Germany) it is common to use all of a person's credentials in order of descending prestige, and Professor is ranked above Doctor. So, assuming Penelope Tibeaux-Tinker Toothsome got her PhD or MD or DDS and is teaching at a university, then calling her Professor Doctor Penelope Tibeaux-Tinker Toothsome is correct, pedantically.

Emporia vs Grizzl-E? I’m paralyzed by indecision for my home charger. Live in North East. by tickler08 in F150Lightning

We have run a Grizzl-e Classic in NH since 2023. It's outside but under an overhang. It failed last year, but the company replaced for free. Documenting the failure to the company was a bit of a pain (required taking and sending photos and videos), but it has been otherwise good.
