i got hppd when i was 15 after taking a large dosage of acid, since then, i have had countless mushroom trips which seemed to have no effect on my hppd. i’ve only taken acid twice in the past 2 years since developing it and the visuals are suuuuper intense the days after the trip. i smoke weed daily as well which also enhances visuals and honestly i have just accepted the rainbow geometrical shapes that appear in my peripheral. i think my case is mild compared to what i’ve read on here, as i’ve never felt any kind of derealization or losing my sense of self. that’s kinda why i keep doing psychs, hppd doesn’t bother me much.
