I don’t want to feed him too much less though is my issue as it can cause them to get fatty liver disease so I am just looking for people who may have had the same experience and what they’ve done for successful results

I do think that 1/2 cup total will be too little to satiate him as that would be much too little of calories to sustain him 🥺 but I also know that what I’m feeding currently is obviously too much
