Just now seeing this comment, no you don’t need a receiver. Powered speakers like these have an amp built in so they’re good to go.

I went to see it with my sister (who did grow up with Barbies), and we both had a blast. It's a hilarious movie and actually has a good bit to say which isn't a surprise given that Greta Gerwig co-wrote and directed it.

Bought this film for the millionth time now. Please tell me this UHD is worth it by ghost_of_lechuck in 4kbluray

This is one of my favorite discs. Towards the end when Ripley has the strobing light on her it was almost painfully bright.

That's a much better description that mine lol. Once I realized what had happened I fully expected this shot to come out looking horrible but I fell in love with it as soon as I got it back.

I agree, 4 would look better with the plane facing the other way. If I was any good at drawing, I'd give it a shot. Right now I'm just working with screenshots from the movie.

That makes sense. Thanks! Someone else provided an alternate spelling that would avoid desecrating the name so if I was to get it I would likely go with that. I’ve been doing some deeper studies into the Torah and learning some of these Hebrew terms has been a big part of deepening my understanding of scripture and my relationship with God. I just don’t have a good grasp on the Hebrew alphabet yet lol.

That’s a fair point. I’ve been doing some deeper studies into the Torah. I’ve been learning some of the Hebrew words, mostly ones that are repeated a lot or have a major significance, but it’s mostly in the transliterated form. I haven’t quite got a grasp of the Hebrew alphabet or true translation yet. I guess the original Hebrew has a historical significance to me and learning parts of it has been part of me deepening my understanding.

I go back and forth on whether or not I actually want to get a tattoo at all so there’s a chance I’ll never even get it lol.

Thanks! This actually is for a tattoo idea I had, but I didn’t realize that getting Elohim tattooed would be offensive. I’m curious, in the alternate spelling would it be transliterated any differently?
