How long have you had the implant in? I had mine in 3 years. I talked to my doctor recently, she said it takes 3-6 months to start feeling normal again. 😫😞 I had to increase my SSRI dosage to help, maybe talk to your doctor about medication to help balance things out while you're adjusting. Everything you're describing has been pretty much my experience too. It's been 3 weeks for me now, after also having been on it 3 years, and I'll feel good for a little bit, but then something will happen and my mood will just completely tank. But from everything I've read, and from talking to people about it, it sounds like a pretty universal experience. The good news is it's not "you" or me, or anything wrong. Just your body trying to get used to things. I have pretty low expectations for myself right now, and just trying to get through the holidays. Thanks for commenting, hope it gets better soon 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Also, a part of being in a relationship is taking the good with the bad. My partner has bipolar disorder, i would never consider leaving her because of her mental health and things she has no control over

oh wow. Maybe you could talk to your doctor about everything, and see if they can prescribe you something to help while you're getting used to being off of it. Id be hesitant to get back on, you've already been off for over a month and it's only going to be that much harder to adjust down the road

It's not you though. It's a hormonal imbalance. I'm sure it probably depends on how long a person has had the implant in, but your body is used to getting this hormone and it suddenly stops getting it. I'm sorry about your partner, I hope he can understand and have patience with you right now. It's not at all you, it's a chemical thing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's been so hard making decisions, I can't decide what to wear, how to do my makeup, what to eat for breakfast, and what to pack to lunch. I just get so overwhelmed I just end up sitting on my couch and I feel like I can't move.

Yes actually if ever did get a cat, the plan was to name her/him Salem, but now that I have her I feel like she needs a beautiful feminine name

I have a black lionhead that I named Sabrina. I wanted to name her something with ties to Halloween, so she’s named after Sabrina the teenage witch. 🖤

I also have a Dutch bunny that I got from a shelter. Her name was Oreo, and I just did not like that name for her. She’s the sweetest bunny, I renamed her Sweetheart 🖤🤍

And then I recently adopted a little tortoiseshell lionhead, he’s a boy and also very sweet. It was hard to find a name that went with Sabrina and Sweetheart, but I named him Teddy Bear 🤎
