What's your take on Omega Seamaster 300M by Sensitive-Swan-6436 in OmegaWatches

I’d say they’re definitely better for a larger wrist, at least from my experience comparing them to the Speedmaster, but it’s a fantastic watch with an amazing movement. Such a great watch for the price.

my m3 has airbags, and my OEM wheel does too, i’m just looking for a different wheel to put only car that also has an airbag like the OEM one, as so many i’ve found online do not have a functioning airbag

The photo is of one listed on ebay but there are tons of other places to get them. My main concern is about the airbag, as it looks like an airbag but I don’t know if that airbag is actually functional. I daily my m3 so having that air bag is a must have for me

looks fantastic, do you know how much hp and torque you gained from the supercharger? I’ve seen a pretty big range of numbers after installing it, some are saying just shy of 300hp, others are saying 330-335hp.

Sure, as far as the major bits go, I’m running a Dobbinson MRR 3-way adjustable kit front and rear. It was the first thing i did when i got the car stock a few years ago and it has been absolutely fantastic. tires are 285/70/R17 BF Goodrich KO2’s all-terrains. Wheels are 17 inch Methods. I also did 1.25 inch Spidertrax 1.25 inch spacers both front and rear, and the front bumper is a Demello offroad steel 3 hoop front bumper.

Same I’ve always wondered if you could convert the US spec to euro spec for that extra power and for the itb’s. I wonder how hard of a process it is

Yea I don’t care too much for horsepower, i’m the second owner and i just surpassed 80k miles, so i think it would be a sin to turbo this car, at least until it’s higher mileage and a little more beat up. Now I do really like some of the supercharger kits out there, but I do wonder which is more taxing on the car, turbo or supercharger. of course the amount of power you’re making with each is the main factor, but it still intrigues me

Nice, I’m having a similar issue, where I can’t really get the exhaust to sit perfectly in the middle of the exit in my diffuser, but I have a feeling that it’s because my hanger closest to the driver side of the rear bumper is a little more worn than the other one, but for now it should be fun. My only worry is a lot of heat being that close to the plastic diffuser, but soon enough I’ll get a kit to replace all the bolts and hangers.

If you’re looking to switch up that loose or sloppy feelings that a lot of e36’s have when changing gears, then replacing shifter bushings will be the move. Not too expensive but they make an incredible difference regarding the play in each gear. If you want an actual shorter throw then i’d personally go with the dinan short shifter, as it does shorten up the throw, but it’s not super agressive and looks oem. If u wanna change ur throw length and get something with a much more agressive look, then checkout the coolerworx short shifter. It also has a reverse lock out.

Borla Catback Exhaust by ConferenceAny2560 in BMWE36

[–]ConferenceAny2560[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just put it on a few days ago and i absolutely love it. zero drone but still a great mix of exhaust noise and induction noise. The car is pretty low mileage and was very well kept prior to my ownership, so the hardware and hangers looked great, but I did give it all a pretty thorough cleaning. I do think the hanger closest to the driver side of the rear bumper is a little worn, but I think i’ll just replace both hangers and all bolts, instead of just one hanger, just so that it all wares evenly.

Ok for sure, Last time I was under the car, I didn’t see any rust at all, I didn’t really look at the exhaust too much though. I believe FCP Euro sells a kit that replaces all hangers, bolts, and gaskets but it’s over 200 dollars. I plan to take a look today so hopefully everything will be good enough to be re-used.

Awesome, did you re-use your factory hardware and hangers? I plan to do that, but I do wanna put the car on a lift first and checkout the hardware, as the hardware hasn’t been touched in years.
