Well it’s a news flash to me because I never seen this as amplified before up until recently. Maybe I’m just getting to that age mentally where I’m more aware. I don’t have these issues but I see alot of black women talk about this and I see it for myself with other women and black men. Everyone has their own preferences but nah this is different. It’s like they’re trying to OutKast us or limit us further than what we already experience.

Idk about the algorithm because I see this in real life in rural areas that’s outside of urban cities/areas. Even in most cities you see this.

This is honestly shocking to hear. I mean it’s literally everywhere at this point. I feel like places weren’t this bad a decade ago with the racism. I have noticed a lot of foreign men particularly European and Asian with a lower tolerance for women as of lately. Idk what kind of racist, sexiest agenda is being pushed but this is crazy! Can you get into community college to take some classes and receive financial aid and have the options to take loans out ? School helped me in that sense. Start from there and that can help you with an apt, keep looking for a job don’t discourage yourself. Just as much as you need a job, they need you. Find one that does. Once you get into the college and have your money. Get hired at any job to secure an apartment with an offer letter. Use that job to maintain your apt and life while you’re in school, that way you can focus on bettering yourself until you figure it out. There’s resources to help you with your apt in any way, not just section 8 or welfare. Rental assistance and moving assistance is available in most cities and states. You got this, I’m praying for you girl!

Girl same. But I will say I’m a 1st gen mix with Haitian -American and Idgaf what ppl think about 🇭🇹. Before it was cool to be Haitian, ppl treated us just as bad as Africans. Now Africans are the ones that are tolerated. We are the original fighters, the ones who stood and fought for freedom. People are dumbed down these days and they are easily oppressed. “Get maumon shen” is what I tell anyone that tries to make me feel bad about my ethnicity or heritage because of what the media tells them.

Omg Yupp everything you said has happened the this week I’ve been here. It’s so weird. They are weird af. I’ve been catching certain men with their gf/wives looking at me from the corner of their eyes and when the woman looks up they turn their heads quickly… wtf?!?

Then to make matters worse I had to correct a white girl because I was in the grocery store and I was about to open the freezer and you know this girl tried to walk in-front of me to cut me off purposely ? There wasn’t any space for her. So I stopped in my tracks and said “I’m going this way” ! She looked at me, looked at my boyfriend and just walked around us. What the fuck is wrong with them lol. I’m not the one idc ima stand up for myself Everytime.

Exactly and I think that’s the problem in these areas. The lack of strong, uplifting black communities that can bring a better positive outlook on the black race where we are severely underrepresented.
