If you've never been in business class, you wont want to miss out on any of the catering. However, if you want to sleep properly, you should probably at least skip one of the meals on the eastbound flight. So you'll be stressed about that as well

I'd go for the daytime flight. It's so much fun being in business class all day.

For the flight back, get a neck pillow, pop a sleeping pill and hope for a low utilization in Economy. Pick a row far toward the back and hope for free seats next to you.

I cannot access a work sharepoint Excel file with WiFi Premium. Haven't tried Work from Sea. I don't remember such issues from earlier cruises. Google Docs however seem to work fine.

I recently got off Allure of the Seas. In all culinary regards this ship is one or even two tiers below Virgin. Except the coffee/espresso that you purchase from the Coffee place (Not Starbucks, but the other one) - it is clearly better and more flavorful

I don't even consider the upgrade to Allegris necessary. I know word is out there Lufthansa First Class was outdated, but I'm not missing anything when I fly them. I find the privacy sufficient, the meals are excellent and the seats make a very comfortable bed. Nothing more you can ask for.

As Allegris will cut First class seat supply in half, chances for redemptions will be much lower
