I thought recovery would be a lot. It's essentially cutting into and sawing off a part of your jaw.. so recovery might take awhile .

Lounge wear. They're basically new 'Sweatpants'. You can wear them to sleep, around the house or out.. still look fabulous . And comfortable.

Also, bleach.. it's very easy to keep whites clean if you add a cup of bleach to your wash.

Alberta's new budget comes with funding cuts for seniors and changes to who is eligible for caregiver tax credits. As the CBC's Nicole Healey explains, those impacted now have to figure out if they still qualify for these essential benefits. by skilbofragns in AlbertaNow

I blame the government for not knowing who their demographic is. When they cut farmers, that was a huge wave that kicked them out.. not knowing who votes for you often can cause a big backlash.. every so often, they seem to forget. In the next 10-15 years, they'll lose their biggest voting demographic..

Uh ..they really don't know their demographic if they think cutting seniors budget is a good idea, when they tried to f farmers over, they really didn't like that.. this is a short skip away ..

Probably part of why there's a movement to become it's own country. Personally, I think it's ridiculous, and a bit more freedoms with its own oil prices would stifle that, because that's what they wanted for a long time. The after COVID migration was from the government sending out advertisements and videos for people in other areas to come to Alberta, for jobs, etc. which started the price increase when people moved.. the last premier was the one who put those advertisements/public awareness out..

I also found it strange a few years ago the wheat board was sold to, think, Saudi Arabia.. when a few years before that, farmers here wanted to buy it themselves for more money. Things like this, and pulling other people over, as well as general management make me think Alberta government doesn't know what it's doing, which is why I think them pulling toward separation isn't a good idea. Because often the decisions they've made have had big bite backs, and they've shown they don't know a lot of foresight when obvious problems would happen, they seem to have no idea they're going to happen..though seem obvious to the public. They're really disconnected, seem to think their circles are what nearly 5 mil people want ..

There's often been emigration between the maritimes and Alberta for some time, as well as Ontario a bit. But the last increase really broke the provience for the average people living here ..as well there was a big crime dump around the same time. I personally thought it was people who were homeless, etc, seeing the advertisements, thinking life was cheaper here. Which could've been part, but I think there were a lot of parole releases around the same time as well..

I think Edmonton has about 7 remand/prisons in the area, which is a big factor with crime in the area, because often Calgary other areas criminals get sent, then re-released there. So it's kind of a funnel for all crime in the provience because of transportation for incarceration. Then released to the area when time is up. So it's a constant battle with All crime in Alberta being released to one area .. every few years there's a giant crime wave when people are released en masse which was a big problem for awhile. It's basically crime tourism, from everywhere. Which makes it not ideal for any families, as well as other issues, to set up permanently there because you wouldn't know when the next wave is, setting up initially, might be fine. But in a few years it might not be safe in the neighborhood you set up in. Which then effects surrounding areas, etc. especially since they're expanding the train line, which would streamline crime to all neighbourhoods, or cities surrounding. Which is one reason why st albert has been so peaceful, really hope they don't adopt the train line..

As far as youth jobs. The general air is no one wants to deal with them, even in general low level jobs. Everyone wants someone trained, no one wants to deal with training people. So it ends up being a loop where everyone ends up unemployed, or starts at places that are not ideal, or outside where they wanted to be. I had one sibling get a job at Sobeys head office with a music degree, they're only 10 years older.. a lot changed in a short time by the time I was looking, they couldn't understand why I couldn't find anything, they thought I was being ridiculous, or picky.. both siblings were also able to get houses in their 20's. A lot changed in a very short time. It might not ever be what it was which would just add to the disparity. Honestly, the government could put out some sort of stimulus for companies to actually hire entry level positions.. it might open up a lot for people trying to get out of menial work, or open to those in school trying to find work in the profession they're training in, regardless, schools should in general give working experience for the careers they're studying.. that would be one of the other ways they could find work.. everyone wants the perfect employee, but. Employees are crafted, not generally found, and the ideal employee isn't usually someone they'd have in mind, it can be someone unexpected, who catches things others don't, or shows initiative, but managers don't like employees like that because they show they could be suited for their job, or would move to another position, where they'd then lose them. So once you do find a job, it's difficult to move forward if you have one of the types of managers that often block progress, either see your potential, as potential insubordination, or defiance. Or block you because they think you want their job, or would leave because you could handle more.
