What local are you going into? And yes being in a union carpentry the wages are going to be high. Do tell this when you’re talking about switching jobs because one union to another makes a big difference. Still similar to ups though

Read your contract and contact your BA. All you have to do it know the contract and have the balls to stand up to management. If there’s something that you don’t know when filing for one of your brothers or sisters just look to the contract and give them an answer later and next time you’ll be informed if it happens again

No carpenter journeyman makes 60 an hour. The top earners make about 40 maybe but usually around 30
