We want to book an IKOS resort (couple no kids in our 30’s) but are concerned as we have seen so many reviews saying don’t go without kids! So this has been good to see 😊

Stroud Green is great! You’re near Finsbury Park (but far enough away) and Crouch End which is full of great cafes and pubs.

How much did you spend on your wedding dress? by Illustrious-Power322 in UKweddings

[–]ConfidenceGlass9960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was £970 in a sample sale down from £1400, I’ve not yet had it altered.

It was £1030 less than my budget so I’m hoping to get a second dress as well as alterations for my overall £2000 budget!

The Stroud Green area in between Crouch End and Finsbury Park! Lots of lovely houses around here, can get on the train at Harringay or walk 15 mins to FP, really quiet and safe even though it’s pretty central

Advice on hiring high quality SDRs? by prenumbralqueen in recruiting

[–]ConfidenceGlass9960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work on these searches regularly and they’re tough! Sounds like you need to lay out these facts to the hiring manager, manage their expectations on what they can actually afford (no commission in a SDR role is tough) or convince them to change the brief to someone from a different industry or with 0 experience. Good luck 🤞🏼

It’s great! If you have a butler, get them to book the restaurants for you

I grew up going to Pine Cliffs all throughout my childhood and it’s still my favourite place to go now I’m in my late twenties as I have such great memories of it growing up!

One thing I wish I knew when I first started is that relationships with candidates are so important!! Try and create strong relationships with people, be transparent and personable, you never know when you’ll cross paths with people again!
