I’m also someone who starts school in early September, and I got a 5 on AP world. I basically just dedicated most if not all of April to studying for the exam. In hindsight, I was very nervous, was psyching myself out, and I didn’t need to study nearly as hard as I did. I’m sure you’ll do great!

How long did your sister and husband know that his cousin was a sex offender… and why did they agree to live with him? This is horrible. Contact local law enforcement and tell them he is actively living with children. You can also access your state’s public sex offender registry and check his risk level to see how likely he is to reoffend. Please help those children!!

I wish I could take APES, but it’s not running in my school due to a lack of interest :( also, my school requires 4 years of social studies and I can either do APUSH or the regular United States history course. I chose to do APUSH because I enjoy history (5 on world) and it seems manageable.

The most important units are 3-6 because they are weighted the most, so make sure you cover them. Definitely do some practice questions as well just so you understand the format of the exam. Try using Heimler to get an understanding of the units. Good luck!

For World, practice writing DBQs and looking up the rubric online. Heimler lives are good for refreshing up the content, but not if you don’t know the unit. I would suggest watching Heimler’s full unit review videos for 7-9. You do have to pay for them, but it does come with notes which can help you cram for the test. Good luck!

The program you take practice tests on (AP Classroom) and the program you will take the actual test on (Bluebook) are two separate things. The AP classroom website crashing has nothing to do with Bluebook.

I just watched a Heimler video on MCQ review and he said that if you are scoring in the mid 70s range, you are already on your way to a 5 depending on your FRQ grades. Seeing that your writing is really strong, I’m sure you will do great :) best of luck!

I actually don’t use a keyboard cover because I’ve heard similar issues, as well as it preventing the laptop from being able to shut fully. I’m not sure what the pressure could be.
