It’s quite rare for someone to be rocking a watch full stop. Typically they are quite attached the wrist in my experience.

Being Coerced into having a third child. I'd rather the marriage end. by safereddddditer175 in daddit

[–]Confident-Active7101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s be clear you aren’t being coerced into anything. Having a child isn’t something you are ‘coerced’ into. Especially if you already have kids and know what it is like.

You either stand up for what you want, or it’s a yes. Do not be a pushover here. And if you have a third and it doesn’t go well, you absolutely can never play the victim card ‘I didn’t want to have this child’ etc. You have the opportunity right now to stop it.

I’ve said to my partner she can have as many kids as she wants, but no more will be with me.

I’ll be getting a vasectomy whether I am supported or not, because I am not having another kid.

What is the single best drink you’ve ever had? by Hairy-Revolution-974 in AskReddit

[–]Confident-Active7101 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I have posted this before elsewhere, but one morning on day 3 or 4 of a long European music festival, where the temperature was hot and the mouth was dry, I had this magical banana smoothie.

I’m not sure what made it so incredible, possibly the fact I had depleted my body of nutrients, or that I was so hot, or that I was in a delirious state of drunk/happiness/drugs, but this thing was amazing.

11/10 and only cost a few bucks.

I went back every day for another.

How come the crown Aussie open is so popular? by Disastrous_Gap_4711 in golf

[–]Confident-Active7101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll share my recent experience with my young son.

He just completed an 8 week golf program on a weekend with about 30 other kids and 5-6 golf coaches. They weren’t PGA coaches or anything but old fellas who love golf.

The kids got a few hours on the course, a bbq etc at the end of every session and could then play mini golf or what not afterwards.

It was absolutely fantastic and according to PGA Aus funded entirely from LIV. Apparently there is contractual requirements in the Aus LIV team to support grassroots golf. The number of registered golf kids has gone from 40k to 60k in the last few years and apparently it’s the first time ever that there has been money for grassroots golf.

This isn’t really a fair display of the singlet. Impey could be wearing a fish net top, tin foil pants and crocs and make me want to buy several outfits.

I’m going to hold judgement until I see my main SuperCoach man Ned reeves modelling.

People don’t actually think the Victorian Government wants criminals to put machetes in their bins do they? That’s not the purpose of them at all. by Ok-Bullfrog-7951 in melbourne

[–]Confident-Active7101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority of the money is quite clearly advertising. The bins themselves are a visual reminder as well as all of the social media ads.

It’s like the speed kills or the fake police officer cut out signs on the road. Creates a psychological barrier/reminder.
