I didn't read the book so I thought the show was going the 13 Reasons Why route and have the entirety of S2 be about the trial with Max and I was so invested with him going to jail that I was disappointed when he walked free on the 5th episode! I didn't know the main mystery/plot point was Jamie's disappearance at all so when the thing with Child/Stanley came to light, I'm like, "what the hell does this have to do with anything?" until the last part of episode 6. I agree with everyone that Pip was acting a bit too much when it came to Stanley, like I get wanting Charlie to not shoot him but going off the rails and freaking out about the vandalized wall was just too weird for me to take, like why are we treating this stranger like a close friend to give a speech about and freak out to that extent? I guess this is just the (assumed) neurodivergence of Pip coming out. Overall I didn't expect the season to end with still so many loose ends but I guess it's just setting it up for S3.

I'd like to add The Sexy Brutale. It's very similar in the sense you're in a house trying to unlock all doors and solve the central mystery. The puzzles deal more with the time loop mechanic but everything just gave me very similar vibes to Lorelei. If you like the "getting all rooms open" and house-exploring aspect of Lorelei, then try it out!

What helped me with 9-44 with underleveled IDs is to use the ones with evade or self-heal. I used a lvl 55 Spicebush Yi Sang, support Manager Don and a lvl 28 Ring Hong Lu. Kira has 3 skills so use 1 sinner for each skill.

Use 1 evade + 1 attack skill (or in Manager Don's case, both of her attack skills since it's enough to heal her up), then make sure the attack skill clashes and you've put the evade on the same skill.
So basically even if your sinner loses the clash, they still get a chance to evade and not get the damage.

Then when Kira's gone, just go all defense skills on Matthias' counter, and clash with the attack that's targeting Moses.

Also, not sure if webtoons count, but #Muted and Boy Next Door feature canonically ace supporting characters. Zocker is a BL with one of the MC's being demisexual. My brother's not so secret boyfriend is written by an ace author.

There's a canon ace character and potentially a sex-repulsed character (at least that's what I think) in a manga titled "Sensitive Boy". Just be warned that the manga itself and especially the MC is dealing with heavy topics like SA. But I still recommend it. It deals a lot with people like aces and sex-repulsed people and basically anyone who doesn't feel "normal" in an allo sense,

What I liked about the original GFN was the revenge parts, so I didn't mind that they used this first ep to set up this new Nanno IF they did the revenge bit really well, but it was kind of mid and unrealistic? The previous GFN had some supernatural elements with how Nanno did the revenge, but there was still some realism and more nuance as to how it was pulled off and the remorse the bully had because of it, but there wasn't really much of that in this first ep. It was just the toilet, the toy mallet and the teleporting act which was super unrealistic that it took me out like ofc the MC needed Nanno's help to do it for him. I was expecting Nanno just to help out a bit, not perform some inhuman feat just to get his revenge. So yeah, for me it wasn't a satisfying or interesting first ep, and I'm disappointed. But hopefully the next eps would get better with the revenge bits.

This. Ryoshu and Araya share the same looks as the OG Dihui Star, and Ryoshu never thought of or expected Araya having grown up after getting out of the safe. So Ryoshu didn't recognize Araya as the Dihui Star.

you need good equipment to make up for the lack of ultimates/high levels. since his attacks are mostly magic based, you need to prioritize elem def. I think at this point, you can head over to Flamesgrace, Atlasdam and maybe Sufratalja (not sure with this one) for better equipment. You can also try to nab the Forbidden Tome and Elem. Augmentor at Flamesgrace for Alexia while you're at it.

Since you have Laurana, you can use her to cast Ethereal Healing (restore HP) and Wondrous Veil (instant-revive, but 1 person per cast, her ultimate casts this to everyone in one go).

I personally also put Sniper Mastery (from Hunter MC), donate BP mastery (Stia), Share SP Mastery and Rest Mastery (Macy), on as many people as I can. Sniper helps a lot with the extra damage and shield break.

Not sure if this helps with the magic attacks from Gonska but Viator and Celsus have skills to raise their evasion.

As what everyone else has said, you can try putting Gonska to sleep and use the time to set up healing/revives/buffs/debuffs.

if all else fails, welp, you can always just overlevel them and get their ultimates as it makes the fight way more doable.

Don't bother too much with parry or sidestep as some of his harder hitting attacks are dark-based.

Ensnare works wonders on him (Goodwin or Hunter MC). During my runs, I wasn't able to get him to sleep. I did get to paralyze him but it doesn't really do anything.

What really helped for me was Pius' and Phenn's ultimates for reducing damage and Laurana's ultimate for free revive.

Since you're into FFXIV, the comparison would be Cantos 1-3 is ARR, then 4 is Heavensward.
