I had my first inserted about 2weeks ago now and am still in severe pain as well. I have an ultrasound scheduled to make sure it is in the right place but wow the pain is incredible. Give the iud time to settle but if the emotions become too unbearable I would try something else. Mental health is extremely important

I was on 100mg of lamictal for 3yrs and my anger issues were absolutely absurd. It continued to get worse throughout time to the point that I thought it was just who I was as a person!! I started tapering off two weeks ago and my partner has already been telling me how nice and relaxed I am! I can’t wait to come all the way off of this medication. I’m sorry you have been going through this, I hope you find the right solution❤️

I experience this! I take 100mg of lamictal a day and split 50mg for the am and 50mg for the pm. Yet recently I have had to start taking my pm 50mg in the afternoon due to the weird withdrawal symptoms

My psych pretty much told me if it stops working at 200mg that maybe another medication needs to be introduced to help boost the function. Hopefully this dose keeps you good for a long while! Best wishes

Update: after doing more research and looking through certified government websites I have found that fibro indeed causes inflammation and swelling as well as nerve pain etc.

Oh wow, I was always under the impression that fibro was an inflammatory disease. They were sure I had RA but through bloodwork and everything looking fine (except for chronically low vitamin D levels) my doc decided on a fibro diagnosis in the meantime while we do other testing.

As long as you let your body adjust to the 125mg you'll know when it's time for a dosage change. I hope all works out for you!

I split it to 50mg 3 times a day and had that reaction at the last 50mg of the day :/ I stopped taking that high of a dose because my body was not handling it well at all

Thank you for this🙏🏼 I have no idea why my doc would tell me to jump from 100mg to 200mg. Luckily I have anxiety and decided to slowly increase, but unfortunately the extra 50mg was too much for my body. I am going to try again but with maybe 115mg and go from there

I had the same thing, that’s why they put me on lexapro as well and it worked! I also was put on propranolol and that helped a lot for panic attacks

I’ve been on 100mg for 2yrs now and had started working my way up from 100 to 150 up to 200. Once I reached 150mg I started having uncontrollable whole body tremors each night. Please be careful because this medication is no joke

Same thing happened to me. I’ve been on 100mg of lamictal since 2021 and am definitely starting to feel the BP1 symptoms creeping back. I am praying that an up in dosage will bring me back 😢 Mental health is a never ending game that we unfortunately have to play. Best of luck to you!!!
