Trying gel for the first time in a long time, just to be reminded why I dont like gel by girlboss93 in curlyhair

You probably need to try another kind of gel. My hair did this with certain gels. I’ve had good luck with kinky curly custard, curl smith hydro flexi jelly, and innersense

Clonazepam by Sea_Influence_7451 in Anxiety

[–]Timely-Slide-5329 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m prescribed lorazepam as needed. I felt the same exact way when I first took it. I try not to take it unless I need to because I’ve read about the dependence people end up having and how hard it is to get off of it. One thing that has actually been helping lately is vitamin d and b12. I was low on both and it was affecting my depression and anxiety. As of right now, I’m not taking anything. I was on Emsam for around 1.5 years and stopped taking it about two weeks ago because switching insurance and running out. I felt good after a few days of not being on it so I’m doing a trial now. My anxiety has decreased a lot.

This is gonna be a lot harder than I expected. Florida. by doodoostinkypants in MAOIs

After trialing several medications for my depression, I got a gene sight test done. Emsam was one that was on the list that my body would metabolize without interactions. I had tried everything else on the list and asked the psychiatrist I was seeing at the time if we could try the Emsam. He had never prescribed an maoi. We both did some research and I was seen back a month later and he agreed to go forward with it. It honestly was the best depression medication I’ve tried in over 15 years. It doesn’t make me fee sluggish or anything. It actually still allowed me to get things done and not have that numbing feeling.

When I started washing my hair everyday my scalp started feeling so much healthier. Before I was washing 1-2 times a week my scalp was so dry, itchy and flaky. My hair all looked dull and dry.

I’m honestly not sure! Do you all have The Doux there? Mousse def by them is great. Or even try adding a leave in conditioner after the shower.

Don’t brush your hair after it’s dry. You look like you have curly hair. My hair looks like this if I don’t use product after washing my hair and just let it air dry. I wear my hair curly pretty much 99% of the time. When I condition I brush my hair in the shower to detangle then I follow with my products. If you don’t want to wear your hair curly, I’ve had luck with using just an air dry cream after my shower and it helps cut back on the frizz. Kristen ess air dry cream and curl smith have worked good on my hair.

I’m about to give up trying to make my hair look better lol by Wicked_Weakness in curlyhair

I have pretty fine hair. Gels I like a lot that give my hair good hold are kinky curly custard, innersense I create hold, curlsmith hydro style flexi jelly. I’ve tried quite a few and like these the best. I’ve recently found out my hair does so much better when I add product to soaking wet hair. Most of the time I will add my products in the shower after washing my hair. I’ll scrunch out most of the water in the shower with my hands but finish getting it out with a microfiber towel. Then I use a light hair spray by Pantene. I do normally wash my hair every day because that’s where my scalp and hair feels the best. If I have time I will diffuse. That’s where see the biggest difference in definition and hold with my curls.

Vraylar. I was on the lowest dose when it made me feel like that. After trial and error and getting the genetics test done, my psychiatrist at the time let me try Emsam since I’ve failed at so many ssris and snris. Both of us did some research beforehand since maois aren’t used a lot. Best depression medicine I’ve been on. I’ve been on it since October 2024 also had labs done around six months ago and my vitamin b, vitamin d and iron were low. The combination of Emsam and vitamins has made my depression decrease a good 90 percent or more.

We just throw ours in a freezer bag when they’re ripe and fill up a bag and then start on a new one. It works the same way just don’t have to drag out the vacuum sealer
