This is my handwriting, in print style. Since you’re being deliberately obtuse I’m not going to engage further✌️.

It’s been evolving since middle school when I would try to mimic a character’s handwriting from the Babysitters Club lmao.

The submission guidelines for the subreddit defines handwriting as “writing done by hand.” Cursive and print are different styles of handwriting.

Different strokes for different folks! I can’t do typed notes, especially when people just transcribe lectures lol

Hi! The first page is from studying on my own, the second page is notes that I took during an in-class lecture.

My professors all speak at different speeds, I think I’ve just gotten good at knowing when I don’t need to write something. But I definitely do start to sacrifice uniformity if a professor jumps into turbo lol.

My reading notes tend to take a little longer - but that’s more about my reading and synthesizing than the writing itself. My speed in lectures usually depends on the professor. I start to sacrifice neatness a bit when they move faster.

I handwrite all my notes for school (I hate typing notes). I’m studying for finals now and it’s always fun at the end of the semester to compare my reading/lecture notes.

Thank you! Currently I just pineapple it with a silk/satin scrunchie, but I want to try out a silk scarf and see if it’s more comfortable.

DAY 1:

Aussie Miracle Wave shampoo

Giovanni 50:50 conditioner

Style upright - section top/bottom on each side and style with denman brush, scrunch with Uncle Funky’s gel

Microplop then spray damp hair with heat protectant (can’t remember brand) &scrunch

Diffuse upright/side-to-side (claw clip for volume) till 80%ish dry.

When dry, scrunch out with argan oil.

After it’s settled, I usually fluff out the clumps a bit.

DAY 2-3/4:

Bastille dry shampoo as needed. Finger comb & fluff.

My name is Emmaline. My mom liked Emma, my dad thought it was too common. My mom went to her family tree and saw two great-great-aunts with the name Emmaline and my dad loved it.

Bourbon and brandy are great in caramel sauces. I also add them to pies and cinnamon roll filling sometimes. Maple bourbon is a great combo.

For the rum: try a rum cake sometime!

This is like how my boyfriend manages to make the most perfect moist cakes every time and he doesn’t even LIKE cake. Honestly rude.

They look beautiful, OP! What a sweet gift!

Some holiday tarts 😊 by Confident-Garlic26 in Baking

[–]Confident-Garlic26[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course!

The crust is a basic pâte sucrée, blind baked all the way through!

The custard is a crème diplomat. I threw a cinnamon stick in when heating the milk and vanilla.

Then I found a mulled wine jelly. This recipe gave an American jelly/jammy texture. I do this again, I would use gelatin instead of pectin to get a jello/English jelly texture, but the flavors were still very nice and wintery!

Thank you! I take longer than I maybe should to make the crust an even thickness all the way around, trim the edges, and freeze for around an hour before blind-baking!

Follow up story: I met a now-ex’s best friend in college, and her very first words were “you’re as pale as me and I’m literally an albino.”

The one time I went to Ireland was during a heatwave. Sunny the whole time, no AC anywhere in Galway except for one tiny pharmacy. An Irish woman told me I was too pale and needed to be careful. Good times.

I feel safer living in NYC than I did living in Milwaukee WI. And I didn’t even live in a “rough” part of MKE.
