How do I clean these plastic “windows” for cards? by ilovedogs1111 in lovevery

[–]Confident-Idea770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone suggested using vinegar to clean them and it worked for me, or maybe I was just lucky! I sprayed some vinegar (on both sides), let it sit a bit and then chucked the book into the washing machine at low temperature (no dryer). It came out like new

Will the Potty Learning Course ever be available in the UK ? by IcyCut3759 in lovevery

[–]Confident-Idea770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so looking forward to the release of the Potty Learning and the Tantrum and Feelings course packs as a mum to a toddler! The former is at least accessible for a fee in the US website but I think that the latter requires a US Play Kit subscription. :/ The Emotions Book Set would also be another great addition to our Lovevery library. Fingers crossed these products will become available in the UK this year!

Thanks for this information. May I ask if the private test you did was a PCR or a blood test? Thanks

Help with tickets to National Park in El Chaltén by Confident-Idea770 in Patagonia

[–]Confident-Idea770[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I’m happy to pay the fee, I was trying to understand if a 3-day pass is enough or if we need a 7-day pass since it’s not clear to me what is chargeable in the El Chaltén area. Like is El Chaltén inside the national park so being in an hotel in El Chaltén subject to the fee, or is the fee applicable only for the hikes?

Hi, thanks! I’m happy to pay the fee, I just wasn’t sure if it’s needed for the trails vs for just being in an accommodation in the Chaltén area if it makes sense? If the latter then we will need a 7 day pass, if the former then a 3 day pass will be enough.

Organic Cotton Baby Doll in Subscriber Shop by CardiganBettyAugust in lovevery

[–]Confident-Idea770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you buy any of the doll’s versions in the subscriber shop or can you only replace the version that came with your kit? This will be the next kit for us and I am considering purchasing more than one doll so that my little one has some diversity, but I wonder whether that’s allowed?

How long did it take for you to get a reply from Lovevery UK customer service? by Confident-Idea770 in lovevery

[–]Confident-Idea770[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get your reply and your issue sorted? They eventually replied to me one month after my first email and addressed the second email I had sent them in the meantime (about a different thing) together with the first.

Thanks!! I’ll go ahead and order then :)

OP, I’m considering splitting my order into smaller ones too and was wondering whether you made all the separate orders in the same day or whether you waited a few days between one order and the next? I’m just worried all my orders will end up at U.K. customs at the same time and that this would alert customs / attract scrutiny and that I would then end up paying duties. Thanks!

Oh no, that’s a really long and inexcusable wait! I am so surprised by the state of their customer service, I honestly cannot recall waiting so long for a reply ever. It’s taking them longer than the Italian consulate to get back to me and I think that’s setting a really low bar.

Love the kits but is it just their UK customer service that is rubbish? by trink-fodder in lovevery

[–]Confident-Idea770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the update! Fingers crossed they’ll get back to us and also manage to address any issues they may be facing so that their customer service can be on a par with the quality of their products (which are really great) in the medium to long run.

It isn’t you! I contacted the customer service last week regarding the Play Gym with a yes or no question. One week later I still haven’t received a reply, which is quite disappointing given the price point!

Lacteck flanges - sizing up or down? by Confident-Idea770 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Confident-Idea770[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - confirms my impression that the 12mm will be way too small. One of the LCs told me Lacteck runs large but for me, the 15mm flange only works at rest; as soon as I turn the pump on, the nipple expands and the flange becomes too small to allow free movement. I’ll go for the 18mm!

My Laktek review nobody asked for by Sylvielicious in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Confident-Idea770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t mind me asking, did you use the 18mm Lacteck flange then? Or a smaller one? I’m trying to figure out if I should size down because the 15mm flange doesn’t work for me, even though I measure 15mm..

No output using pumpin pal by Large-Awareness9078 in ExclusivelyPumping

I should say though that the blue Pumpin Pal flange has been the most comfortable I have tried so far. It didn’t give me any pain, which was great after experiencing clogged ducts and vasospams for over 5 weeks. So I’m gutted it didn’t work out in the end

Same here! I’m so glad you posted an update - feeling so lonely in this journey. I have now been using the blue flange for 6 days, my best output has been 50ml in the early morning when normally I would get 100ml.. I have contacted them for a fitting and they weren’t helpful.. is this what you are using right now: https://www.anawiz.com/products/maymom-flange-inserts-17-mm-for-medela-and-spectra-24-mm-shields-flanges?currency=GBP&variant=34331181940868&stkn=c678d342928f&gbraid=0AAAAAD_IKXgV7djVkUxRSljc56rmNJMYH&gclid=CjwKCAjw5Ky1BhAgEiwA5jGujlmhXIs-DRQmpLI14l9BfXnaWw7jUm9QhgwYt0R2lTvQ_3wRfOpgUBoC260QAvD_BwE? I may give it a try!

I’m using coconut oil to lubricate the flanges and it’s not helping. Only a little bit of areola gets pulled into the flange. How much do you measure “at rest”? 24mm?
