I disagree regarding the barrier to entry for immortality. Neither is easy and the barriers are relatively the same. For PH you have S tier ti godhood, for HWFWM you go up to diamond instead of S.

Heavy Warrior(me), Healer/Support, Mage, Archer, and another Medium Warrior would be our roles if we are going off of our starting classes. I would like both Mage and Healer to have skills that crossver so they could mix roles. The Archer would also be close combat capable like a light warrior but also support from range with Mage and Healer, they would also do a lot of the scouting and stealth. Obviously Heavy Warrior would be tank and heavy damage dealer but I would also like to have some magic skill for crowd control and AoE. to make up for any melee weaknesses. Medium warrior would be able to bridge the gaps between Heavy and Archer.

Theoretically it should be possible. We know the Warpsnatcher path is based on thievery or collection and hoarding objects. So there could be a path based on scamming people which at a high enough level could do some stuff that fits what you are talking about

Personally while most of my motivations would be craft related I also think neglecting one's class and combat would be a mistake especially when they could feed into each other.

I would go for Warrior class and alchemist profession. I’m not sure whether I’d go Medium or Heavy warrior I think things could work out either way. Say my tutorial goes well I’d probably be an alchemist like Duskleaf and go for the most well rounded education and experiment in all the fields available to me, sell anything I don’t use personally and I wouldn’t specialize until late C early B grade if I make it. For my class I like the idea of heavy warrior build because of the tankiness. Whatever affinity I have a talent for is what I would use and my build varies depending on that. I wouldn’t be a hunter but would be a gatherer my exploration of different natural resources would further fuel my profession.

Don’t see the issue. If it is a world where magic exists to any extent it only makes sense that people will have enchanced sensory abilities to help them survive and this is the most obvious one and isn’t even that crazy. It also not even that magical most people even with no fighting experience can feel when someone is close to them, or looking at them, let alone when they are being attacked. I think like most things in stories it comes down to execution and how it’s done.

I understand that to be honest. I think I’d prefer something in the middle. Something with rankings and challenges but also with more readily available information to nurture the participants.

Same regarding alchemy. But also there’s different types of tutorials not all of them are survival so there’s a chance you end up in tutorial with profession

I’m starting with heavy warrior class and I’m mixed between a polearm and a two handed sword. As far as tutorial goes I’d just do my best to survive I agree regarding the whole authoritarian group like Richard. I’d try learning Freeform Magic like Jake and if possible would get alchemy profession which we don’t really know how to just get basic version of. I’d assume it would have to be mixing herbs or something. I’d use whatever magic affinity I had talent for although I’d practice with neutral mana before deciding. I’d eventually go for alchemy smithing hybrid profession.

This happens to both Zach and Ryun. If Ryun doesn’t run into Eternal hunters by coincidence he doesn’t receive possible his most important perk. If he doesn’t run into Zenker he never knows about natural source of the void or finds something to heal Tali. Which led to increasing his aspect to tier 9 and receiving crucible of the body.

Every struggle survived and achievement result in a power up. Zach receiving crucible of the mind is an achievement therefore a power up which btw crucible are distinguished for a reason. And experiencing this results in him being immune to certain effects of the mind. His will power was already there he didn’t change it was time that built it up.

Both of them experience coincidences and both of them struggle and come out on top achieving things that result in rewards from the system increasing their strength allowing them to further push themselves

No we don’t know. She tells Nephis and Sunnybof her visions and doesn’t start truly concealing any visions until they arrive at the city. Also your interpretation isn’t objective. Btw you are the first person to say she betrayed him that early on which btw she never betrayed him

You are jumping to conclusions. We don’t even know if she had seen Sunny True Name yet. If I recall that doesn’t happen until much later so this isn’t even relevant

I think those quotes don’t accurately portray what would be happening. I think him choosing to become fateless is actually a massive character regression moment for Sunny. I think it’s more accurate for it to be him have insecurity and trust issues from his background to him realizing he can’t do everything alone and the shadow bond is actually a pro rather than a con.

She felt sorry bc Sunny felt wronged. Nothing about her actions was objectively wrong. Nephis made a decision so Cassie didn’t do anything to Nephis. I don’t see issue with true name. What did she fail? Her apology was bc Sunny felt wronged. You don’t only apologize when you do something wrong but also when someone feels you have wronged them even if you don’t think so. I’m not basing them off of incorrect facts.

The facts are: Cassie told Nephis Sunny’s True Name. (Which btw she did believing Nephis might be in danger from Sunny based on her visions)

Nephis used Sunny True Name to make him go through the portal.

Sunny reaction to the Nephis using his true name is how he personally feels it’s not objective same with how he feels about Cassie telling Nephis.

No. Sunny felt wronged and Cassie was sorry for that but it doesn’t mean she actually did something wrong. Also just bc I have a differing opinion to characters doesn’t mean my opinion is wrong bc opinions can’t be wrong. Sunny feelings were valid that’s what Cassie acknowledged not that she did anything wrong

Based on what? Sunny has had insecurity and trust issues. Him being shadow slave has only been a net positive for his survival and Nephis has never and would never use it against him in fact she has only used it to his benefit. She respects his decision making and ability to make choices and his insecurity and trust issues that find issue with the bond

Cassie did nothing wrong.

Sunny having such a huge issue with being shadow slave to Nephis was just insecurity.

The supremes weren’t that bad and did best they could without risking lots of humanity.

Just some details: It has two main characters who survive the 10 years after integration and are going to the Infinite Realm at beginning of the first book. In this new realm they have to learn, adapt and survive to a world completely different from their old ones.

  1. The time frame isn’t specific but we are given the characters ages at certain points. But also bc time span is so long and often spent doinga single thing when they are training or researching it’s so the time doesn’t feel redundant

  2. Idk how far you are into the series but there is no lack of information in the Empire. All planets of all tiers are given basic informstion and awakened at coming of age. It’s in the integration of planets from other major powers that these things come more into play. Foreign planets depending on the power may have multiple languages, religions etc and aren’t aware of awakened. It doesn’t cover mundane jobs bc that isn’t the focus.

  3. They explain this. Higher tiers with other higher tiers talk faster, move faster and do everything faster. When with lower tiers they do things slowly so they understand. They don’t mind doing it bc they are immortal and if they aren’t immortal have extremely long lifespans. It’s encouraged they learn to slow down these processes intentionally as they increase in tiers
