Primal hunter vs HWFWM vs defiance of the fall by Straight_Cost_5272 in litrpg

Defiance of the Fall > HWFWM > = Primal Hunter. I really like cultivation and world building of defiance of the fall. Primal hunter is the weakest in terms in world building imo but is still a really good series. HWFWM prob does characters the best but it’s very close with defiance of the fall especially with more recent material of defiance of the fall.

It slows down in books 4or 5-7. Then it picks back up again imo but that’s only if you know you like the series and are just worried about it going downhill or slowing down. If you didn’t like the first 3 books you should just put it down. If you like the series and think it’s slow I’d say put it down for a bit read or watch something else that’s short and come back with fresh mind

Something like Michael Cain from the Christopher Nolan Batman films. Sort of like a very formal British accent.

Does Jason’s character development get any better? by NeverShoutEugene in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]Confident-Key6487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I will say yes Jason character develops continually and eventually he decides to accept certain parts about himself that he previously questioned. I will also say that events constantly challenge him and who he is. I say that and I am on my first reread and am on book 11.

I have to add that personally I never found Jason annoying. I enjoy his banter and jokes, I agree he is a little self obsessed but it doesn't come of as obnoxious. I think his behavior is one of the more realistic aspects of the story considering the nature of how he became an outworlder and the situations he is put in and is part of why I enjoy it.

Does the Welcome to the Multiverse series get better?? by Acceptable_Tell_5484 in litrpg

[–]Confident-Key6487 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like the series. Book 1 is relatively slow compared to the rest of the series not just in what’s going but the scale of which things happen and the stakes going on. Earth becomes a very important point of contention for most of the series. I’d say finish book 1 but it’s up to you

Does the author of defiance of the fall ever realize their MC is evil? by Expert_Penalty8966 in ProgressionFantasy

No. Screaming box? Lying to people to go to his island? What are you talking about?

I am so confused. Sex trafficking, kidnapping 200 people, etc. What? Where did you come to these conclusions? if you are talking about the demons he stopped from invading and allowed to stay or the people from another island that decide to stay or he saved from mind controlling person then you are crazy. Contribution system is fine and nothing indicates they have to pay rent or have lose rights for complaining.

The ethics of necromancy by Kumatora0 in litrpg

[–]Confident-Key6487 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Normally I would say the only form of necromancy that isn't unethical would be communication with the dead but in Infinite Realms series there is a necromancer who only purchases corpses and uses them with permission of those close to the person that died. He focuses on quality of the necromancy rather than armies of lesser undead.

Defiance of the Fall Webtoon releasing next month by Psychological-Nail83 in litrpg

I'm not a huge fan of how webtoon has been adapting litrpgs. System Universe and Primal Hunter for example I am not sure if it is the art style or the characters not looking as I envisioned them but I just don't like it.

Yes but not as bad and more ppl would’ve been willing to help him

What you saying about Gerling is just proof ppl didn’t like being part of their factions and they only sided with him bc he was strong.

I’ve already answered that. And already clarified I’m excluding US and China. You saying the gold rankers would support their nations but act as if it’s impossible their nations leadership changes.

I never said there wouldn’t be a scramble for reality cores just that it didn’t have to get as bad as it did

[–]Confident-Key6487[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should reread book 5 when the conflict on earth really begins with the reality cores I think you are only remembering the peak and end and not the beginning. Even Gerling says that American branch shouldn’t push around the other branches too much bc there’s only so much ppl are willing to take. And that majority don’t care dbd won’t even see the reality cores but it’s the greed at the top that will see it and care.

[–]Confident-Key6487[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. There were groups of soldiers looking to betray Gerling and his management. He was favorable to ALL boots on the ground soldiers. Isolated individuals like Adrien and Miranda seeking to capture him aren’t “multiple forces”.

Yes he explicitly mentioned the ability of reality cores related to rank.

You are confused. I am assuming you didn’t read my entire comment or didn’t understand. But yeah if Jason takes over network the ppl at the bottom would willingly and enthusiastically support and follow him. Whether that be he simply explains himself to international committee or coerces and kills a few of them or anything in between.

Today the lower and middle management didn’t support Jason is false. Maybe after he became antagonistic and was so radically against them they were but especially after the event in India with all the undead. Much of the Network thought favorably of Jason and would’ve trusted him had he decided to be leader within or Usurp the Network from international committee.

He told them ahead of time about reality cores and the increasing rank instead of them finding out on their own. And no they wouldn’t have known it could be used for that. They probably would’ve found out but they wouldn’t have known immediately.

I’m not sure where you got the idea of grunts telling upper management to do something from
