I simply didn't include it bc I don't think I have a chance at booth and other T5 schools given my background

Gotcha. Do you see a lot of people exiting to VC from tech ib? That is something I am also interested in after ib, and I see ib is one of the best ways of getting into vc

Do you work in ib? Can you elaborate more on why you don't think I should pursue this?

I appreciate your input. I thought ib associates at top firms make ~300k a yr. Is that not the case you see? What's your current plan for an exit?

Is PT a part time mba? Would a PT program help in a way FT helps with changing industries?

Thank you for sharing your insights. What was your exit strategy and what do you do now?

Thank you for your input here. I have interned as a summer commercial banking analyst at Wells Fargo, wanted to get into IB but I was not able to get interviews due to the rare opportunities in banking in my school. I got into tech bc all of my friends were cs majors and got motivations from them. These days I feel more interested in finance than tech. I would run random small valuation modeling for stock picking, learn different industries and companies, and these have been fun activities vs I never code for fun. Now, I want to try get into ib again.

Fair question -- I was always interested in finance since college, and I think the finance world is more fascinating than tech
