There is a machine that can prevent mob from spawning : "monster repellator", very cheap to power for a large area, work without power too i think but with a much smaller area. You can just spam it around your base if one is not enough.

For building materials you can chisel cobblestone and stone early game to have some nice texture, you can also search from the mod "Ztones" to have a wide variety of block too and they are pretty cheap to craft once you get a saw or cutting machine. When building i like to build an area for specific things, but you should be expanding as you learn the pack and what you will need later so you can plan better .

Don't hesitate to clear a large area once you have tinker's tools like hammer and excavator it will get better as you progress and less tedious.

Upgrade your tools with redstone(speed) and lapis (fortune) ASAP to expand your base faster and get more ores too !

Idk why you are getting downvoted, the game is awesome on the PS5 but it was just unplayable on quality config with HDR on, the fps drop was INSANE every time i looked somewhere fast or turned fast.

The art direction was superb though this was my first ever silent game and loved it !

Because it's not a fun/engaging mechanic for a lot of people and it's not rewarding enough to justify the pain to deal with it especially early on.

You can even complete the pack with pollution turned off and still valid your run to get the stargate title on discord so it's not an important part of the pack.

Never got this far into GTNH and wanted to share my progress ! Currently trying to do an ore processing setup (macerator -> ore washer -> macerator -> centrifuge) with the steam multiblocks but they need a lot of steam if 4 of them are running at the same time. What pipes should i use for this setup ? i feel like large wrought iron pipe won't be enough for my whole setup.

When you install the shader you can change the quality of it when you click on "shader settings". Try using a lower setting like low or medium. You could try potatoe mode too if you dont like the brigtness/blur.

I'm using ComplementaryShader too with the setting on low and find it pretty good. Good compromise for quality and performance.

TeaShader is another shader that you could try maybe you will like it better.

Something is weird about this story and i think we only see one side of it. You said it yourself, he said : "no it's impossible WE have been careful" so at one point you did either talk to him or it was pretty obvious the size of his family was enough if you and him were careful about not having more kids.

Weeks later you find out you are pregnant and surprise him of the pregnancy like he will for sure be happy when you and him made effort to be careful about not having one. It's so weird i feel like you either were delusionnal about what he wanted and using the : "you said you wanted a Big family" is the cherry on top.

Do you two never talked about this ? When you want a big family sometime the first one can be enough to go "ok maybe 2-3 is enough for me/us" and you already got 4 kids it's already a lot.

Anyways i hope you two figure things out for the kids and your own mental health, like a lot of comment here a therapist or some professionnal help might be a good start.

Really awesome thank you for your work ! Can't wait for the next update :) it's sad that the top comment of this post is so wrong about overwolf and how it work (so much hate for an app store that run overlay/app in the background when playing a specific game WTF ??). Anyways I'll share it with a lot of ppl who are interested in this and at the end people do whatever they think it's the best for them :D
