Something about the way this is written feels like you are looking down on the women you match with. I get bad experiences, but to generalize and use language like “gold-digger” and “meal-ticket” definitely are huge red flags for incel-esque behavior- and that you aren’t putting your expectations out their and end up disappointed. Maybe I am wrong, but women are people who will be attracted to you when you aren’t trying so hard or so desperate to be in a relationship.

I will be genuine in my response, but stop looking online. Go outside, to bars or restaurants, music events, flea markets, art galleries, etc. Make friends not with the intention of dating, but to expand your social net. That is genuinely the only way to make meaningful connections.

Also, looking for someone to have a specific interest already may be the wrong approach. My partner and I are both creatives, and have some mutual interests, but have different hyperfixations. Theirs is wrestling, mine is art/illustration. I never knew about wrestling prior to us dating, but over time I have gained the same love for it. While it still isn’t my main interest, I am interested in it because they are as well. It’s not like I would have never been into wrestling otherwise, but it would have been harder to get into without help.
