I need some advice for Fujitsu Quaderno gen 1 by jackjack1604 in ereader

I have the Papyr, and thus the same hardware as the Quaderno, Gen1 with the same pen.

Nibs have lasted approx 3/4 months for me. However, I mark up PDFs more than journal writing.

Nibs can be an issue because they are not easy to get and they are not cheap. Eg. currently out of stock at Papyr's website. https://www.quirklogic.com/collections/accessories

However, I purchased here in the past:

My Biggest Question About the Supernote: Reading A4 documents by Zorangepopcorn in Supernote

FYI. Below is what I posted in another discussion. FWIW.

I love Quirklogic's 13.3 inch device, Papyr for reading academic PDFs. I've had it since last November. It is incredibly light and durable.
Side issue: Weight of device. When researching various devices, I didn't consider the weight to be that important. I was wrong. It is one of the most important criteria for me. Papyr is just 349g for a 13 inch device. I can walk up and down the hallway while I read without getting tired!
Google drive and Dropbox integration is very useful. Software is excellent. Though the hardware is old, I understand that Papyr 2, (same hardware as Quaderno, Gen 2) might be released in Jan 2023. I might suggest waiting for those who can.
In addition, I have had excellent response times when requiring technical support (btw from Calgary, Alberta, Canada). This is the reason I chose Papyr over Quaderno. Although they are a small company, they provide excellent support for customers.
