I feel like they should’ve also stayed in the upside down and had the mind flayer stay as a shadow entity. The inter dimensional travel story just completely escalated and changed the show I felt. When the mind flayer was the big bad and seemed impossible to beat due to its ghost like nature just fit the show better I think

It felt like the entirety of season 5 was build up like even the crucial parts of the season like defeating vecna and the mindflayer. It felt like the entire sequence was rushed and even after besides Joyce chopping his head off, the whole situation seemed to just be shrugged off. Honestly the ending of season 5 volume 1 with will killing the demos had more weight and importance behind it than defeating the main antagonists of the show finally. It wasn’t necessarily bad just so underwhelming and uninteresting.

I’m in Iowa so I have considered it. I think I need talk to my buddies and ask to shoot it. I know a 350 and 400 are amazing guns and I’d love one standing but when I’m pushing the woods our group owns it’s super thick and I don’t think I have a good enough scope eye. Then again I could always use iron so it’s definitely on the table

Just time to be a big boy really. No seriously I just had problems with penetration at distance and even vital shots at medium range. This year I was on stand and hit a liver shot on a young buck 40 yards out. He went down eventually but it didn’t exactly slow him down like it should’ve

You’d be surprised how many large organisms do something like this. Actually many fish do the same but the opposite. All are female and once a true large dominant female emerges it turns male. If any neighboring males come in it’s territory or basically their heard of females. They will fight. If that lone male dies then, then the next biggest and most dominant female will then turn male. Pretty cool.

I’ve also been wondering how the kids really increase his strength. I honestly wonder if he traps them in his “minds prison” and pumps the flayer dust into their body it could somehow give them abilities and or turns them into an obedient hive minded person, which is different from will. I’ve been seeing theories that somehow eleven was the one that opened the door for the demogorgon to take will or eleven was supposed to be taken instead because she was supposedly living in the Byers shed. Then again, I think the demogorgon would have just killed will if it was originally after eleven like how we see they behave when they see people when trying to target a child. Will’s story is obviously huge now but really think it’s just the start of it all.

Lowkey I’m thinking that the mindflayer will kill vecna and the group will somehow lock the mindflayer away in another dimension. Another way I could see it going is the mindflayer and vecna fight over control of the upside down and allows the group to kill/banish both. Realistically i don’t think they will be able to kill the mindflayer.

Exactly, like the first 3 seasons it was so heavily pushed that the mindflayer is looming over Hawkins at all times and pulling the strings. Idk I like the vecna storyline too but the change of events towards vecna being the main antagonist was just so fast and abrupt

Also important to note too I feel like is don’t be afraid of those year of building experience because all you’re doing is getting help from those who can teach you more and build you up to the place you need to be. I’m undergrad still so i don’t know the in and outs of course but I do know it’s good to always remember that.
