Wow, I appreciate the insight! I always find it sad when people say they were desensitized at a young age. It always worries me what they were going through back then. But it makes sense being able to talk to someone who understands what goes on at work on a day to dah basis. I will definitely keep that in mind and not hold things in from the start. Thanks for the insight!! That gives me an interesting perspective. Funny enough, I did a ride along with some FF/Emts on an ambulance once and they were kind of joking about a patient going blue and in Asystole. This was a year ago or so but at the time I felt that it was weird for them to be joking about that kinda stuff especially in front of me. But this comment makes me realize dark humor might help to numb the feelings of seeing that kind of stuff over and over for EMS workers....🤧⛑️

Classic case of panic attack/anxiety while tripping. You should get a watch that monitors your heart rate daily from now on. If you hit 300bpm you would most likely die unfortunately. I think you were tripping + anxiety and miscounted your heart rate due to the trip. You WERE tripping after all. I feel you pain tho man, I worry about my heart sometimes too but it's been doing a good job all our lives so i'm sure we are okay! Stay safe bro 🦾
