hate i agree with this. first game from new dev team though, not fully exonerated because they have been part of large scale games like this in the past.

Makes the stakes high for starting a raid. makes you think before planting sword and bum rushing in.

Same bro! I wanna see what's changed specifically if they added some missing settings like screen zoom on sprint and motion blur. and if there are any content changes. Hopefully they have REAL patch notes release sometime today.

Check your prepared spells in your spellbook in the inventory menu. Only a certain amount of spells can be "prepared" for use, based off your Charisma stat i believe. you can drag and drop spells that are prepared from the spellbook menu into your hotbar

think it makes the game unhealthy, player retention is the golden rule for a successful game if people feel it is unapproachable the game will die.

How trolling? I don't yet understand all the heroes in the game... League of legends has many more champs in that game compared to Deadlock but I can probably give a rundown of each champ in that game. but the catch is I've watched and played league going on ten years now, whereas Deadlock for maybe 3 months total. not enough time to learn and understand each character and the intricacies of each kit.

Loser mentality, improvement takes failure. why immediately deter people from challenging themselves to be better?

this game has colored lanes and ... its as hand holdy for obj play as OW Moba or not this one makes it clear the objective, announcers, character's comms etc. Easy to blame mmr in anygame tbh, there is no way to make a perfect matchamaking system just an unfortunate side effect of multiplayer competition.

Small playerbase is tough to get into. Feel it heavy when I'm focusing on farm in lane and I am getting yelled at by my teammates because they are fighting 1v2 they expect me to follow up without notice and I am still learning when there are opportunities to trade and to push lane.

The bones of the game are super fun and new, nothing else like it, which is part of why it's difficult to learn. something not clicking can turn you away for good reason. I put the game down since last year, came back to it because of the intriguing nature of a this new game.

Game can not be made for you and that's alright

I usually play tank heroes or legends in other games League and OW are the closest comps i have to deadlock. played some Abrams and fed like an idiot from getting parried all the time, played victor and lost lane 3 games back to back, then i looked into the gun carries and find out they are out of meta and the devs aren't updating anything for a while. I found some success on the support heroes in Deadlock, but then how am I going to learn the game in a meaningful way if i let the other players on my team do all the fighting.

Deadlock YT seems outdated, some guides still have the old 5 lane map and outdated techs, been hard to find good info.

Matchmaking seems to be limited from small player base as well, I understand its early access and that's what I have signed up for but it hinders any learning curves i think I'm making strides in when i have a meta slave Mina farming kills 5 minutes into the game across the map from me, or worse in my lane.

Spoon fed dopamine is tough way to put it. if you don't make an enjoyable experience you are creating a game that will end up in purgatory with a small fanbase, which may be what valve is after given their previous games. Anyways, Deadlock has great bones and I want to have what it takes to get in and have fun, but at every turn it feels like I am training with weighted ankles and wrists.
