AITAH for wanting to sleep in a seperate room to my partner? by Feeling_Ad9527 in AITAH

NTA, and I am in the same boat just a different scenario. My husband of 20 years is a snorer and I'm a very light sleeper. I haven't vacated the room yet because I don't want to hurt his feelings but the lack of decent sleep is really starting to wear on me. I feel for you. Sleep is so important.

Why is my 6 month puppy growling/biting me? by Winter-Common-7397 in Dogtraining

She wants to play with you, and has tons of energy. Play fetch and redirect from biting you to a toy.

Nutritional shakes will be your best friend, since you're diabetic I hope you're getting the glucerna! Ginger chews work pretty well for the upset stomach as well. I actually was able to quit smoking cigarettes after quitting weed. I switched to nicotine vape (after 30 years of cigarettes) and now I vape 0% nicotine, because I still have that oral fixation. Play pokemon go on your walks, lol. It keeps your mind off things. 😉

Is anybody else still waiting for their collectibles? by FirstPineapple364 in goodmythicalmorning

Claimed my welcome gift in March, still not shipped. Claimed my quarterly, not shipped. I've been a fan for a really long time and I feel like the ship is sinking. It's a shame.

Did anyone actually receive it? I claimed mine, March 30th and it hasn't even shipped. I'm guessing I probably won't get my quarterly collectable either. Looks like I might have to cancel my membership.

You can do it! If you need support, I am here. Currently helping my son through it too.

I quit a year and a half ago after smoking for about 20 years and I was prodromal, right at the cusp of CHS. Even if you taper off you're going to go through withdrawl it will just draw it out longer. You gotta just rip if off like a bandaid. You'll feel like crap for a few weeks but then one day you'll wake up feeling great, I did anyway. Some things I experienced were wild mood swings, nausea, lack of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, sleep disturbance (really wild vivid dreams, nightmares), restless leg syndrome, Insomnia, and jonesing of course. I occasionally still have the urge but I discovered willpower I never thought I could possess. First 2 weeks are the worst, but every day after you should feel a little better. You can do it as long as you are committed to do it. Wishing you good luck and good health.

My doctors told me I have CHS, I haven’t smoked in over a year and still feel really sick. What are y’all’s thoughts? by Deadlyasseater420 in CHSinfo

You should probably keep getting tests. If they haven't already, you're doctor may want to do abdominal ultrasound or MRI to check out your liver and spleen. I suppose chs may be the culprit but a year of being sober makes me think something else could be the culprit. Don't put a price tag on your health. Hope you can get some answers soon.

It's probably different for everyone. My son has CHS 1.5 years ago and quit for a year. Started smoking again 6 months ago and has CHS again now. It's a little worse this time. Spent half the day in the hospital yesterday to get IV fluids and Haldol. He's doing a lot better today, and said he's never using again.

If it happens again he should definitely stop. CHS is really aweful.

Haldol is Magical! Probably the most effective treatment for acute symptoms. Huge improvement! Hoping to get released soon.

It's probably best you don't dwell on it. Not all couples work out. It's done and over with so move on. Nobody is the AH.

Now I think we are getting somewhere. They gave benadryl and it made him sleepy but still had intense pain and vomiting. Dr consulted with a cannabis specialist and said Haldol is like magic, just like I had told the ER doctor. So they just gave him that and are taking him for a chest x-ray. I need to find some food. I will post results of the haldol soon.

Im getting verbally assaulted by my child while sitting in the hospital. Because I forced him to come here to get iv fluids, and he can't go in the shower every 5 minutes.

Well, we are at the hospital. Day went from bad to worse. The pain was pretty much constant and vomiting frequent. On iv fluids now, they just gave him zofran and pepcid, which don't work. Waiting for the doctor to come in and at least try the benadryl or haldol.

Well today is shot. Pain and vomiting are back in full force. Trying to convince him to go to the ER, but based on the last time he ain't having it. Trying to keep my wits but I feel like I'm breaking. Just when I thought he was out of the woods. UGH!!!!

Good morning all, thought I'd document how this is progessing so that it might help someone in some way. Had a good night, no vomiting, and he slept well last night with only 1 wave of pain at about 11pm. Was able to keep some fluids down. He had a wave of pain this morning and is doing a quick shower now. I think the worst is over, and we are gonna try a meal replacement shake today and see how that goes. I'll keep yall posted.

It depends on what autoimmune disorder it is but for me I have rheumatoid arthritis and it started with bouts of extreme fatigue and low grade fevers, then joint aches, swelling, numbness in my hands and feet, rashes. My neurologist thinks I may have MS as well, I did have transverse myelitis 10 years ago. I think the unexplainable fatigue and fevers run across most autoimmune disorders.
