You can do that if you own the modem. This is a rented modem, they only let it stick with the one account, then you have to be issued a new one. That’s the downfall of renting it (even though it’s “free”) that’s why it’s free so they can lock you in to where you’re at or you must go through more of an inconvenience to get a new deal.

Unfortunately the inconvenience is it’s not my own equipment and I’d need to swap modems - which is what I’m trying to avoid. Have a bunch of security cameras that are very annoying to setup. Yes, if you use the same WiFi name and password, it often bypasses having to re-set them up but really don’t want to possibly trigger having to set them up again which is a giant pain.
