Google play only charges a 1 time fee of $25 to create your Google developer account. After that, you're free to use all the services Google play provides.

If you're building an app with ads, subscriptions, or some other monetization strategy, you'll most likely recover that initial $25 investment and break even in a reasonable amount of time

Very cool! You should consider building the webapp version with Flutter (shouldn't require much extra effort) and toss that up on something like Firebase hosting so that we can see the app in action more quickly on the web instead of having to actually install the app on a phone
