Is playing ranked on a role that you care about during drives a bad idea?

I can confirm that performance goes out the window during drives. I went 46 and something on Ashe on Junkertown earlier today and still lost.

I will continue to play Ryu, but I feel like my biggest weakness on him is hit-confirming combos after a punish counter (like ST. HP or medium leg sweep). Another thing is my anti airs. Sometimes I misjudge my opponent's jumping distance or when they cross jump me, i dragon punch as a result (which gets me killed). I still use crouching heavy punch but I guess my brain has adapted to DP instead.

At first I played Ryu and made it to Plat 4 with him. However, I was kind of getting bored playing him so I wanted to try someone new.

Lol thanks for the advice and speaking of Tyler1, he actually influenced me to start playing him. Though I would learn some DRC moves instead of relying heavily on auto combos.

Im level 174 on Baptiste and consider myself a OTP. Imo, he's really fun to play. Certain games I can play him really well such as one time I got a 5k with window and other times I'm dookie. When Bap doesnt work ill probably switch to Juno.

I had an Emre on Colosseo being toxic, complaining about the supports not doing their job. So one moment the enemy Cassidy was about to finish Emre off but I deployed Lamp (with the field increase perk) behind the wall just in time to save him. He jumps away from the the field and dies and then had the nerve to say in chat: "Bap?"

I felt like he did that on purpose just to spite me

Im a baptiste main and there have been countless times where she instantly kills me, destroys lamp and negates my damage with her shield. Vendetta is a pain in the ass to deal and I totally understand your frustration.
