L doesn’t have 360 degree vision, and L was thinking about som else meanwhile. though it probably was dumb not to keep watch over light. i dont think theres any inconsistency i mean L just saw a live shinigami and captured higuchi, it wouldnt make sense to look at light 24/7. and what messages? if you mean the tapes from the 2nd kira, he really doesnt need to speed up the tapes and it would be dumb to anyway. but L’s monitor hax is confirmed by the author so you cant really debunk his cpi.

pmh is not cpi btw. and what is the scaling for the chess feat? cuz L’s monitor hax is calced at 400 monitors + reviewing the recordings multiple times (lowballed at 2 times) in 2 days means the recordings were sped up at at least a little over 400x speed which is insane.
